I prefer to visit a new place each time. If I am able to afford it I love to visit a place outside my own country, and I have visited many nice places in Europe. My favourite trip was in a interrail trip in 2010 where I visited Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, Slovakia, Poland and Germany. In my own country my parents and I used to visit the north of Denmark every year. It is a beautiful place, and I enjoyed the holidays that I spent there. My husband and I don't have that kind of holiday tradition, we usually visit a new place every time for instanse one of the small islands in our area.

Most importantly that i think it is convenient for you to go.And thus you do not need to go especailly on holiday. It is cool i think, small islands are charming and you just experience the unique characters and overall, europe is such a attractive and ancient place to go.

My holiday vacations are usually spent on different places here in our country. I would love to go on an out of the country escapade for some holidays this year but apparently, I decided to explore my own country first before I continue venturing out outside the Philippines.

My home country is small and I have seen some parts of it like London, the home counties like Kent, the north east like Yorkshire and the the west like Chester. I have been up to the Lake District. I prefer to travel overseas and explore different countries in the world. I tend to have one trip per year and go somewhere different every time.
Earlier this year I took my disabled son and my daughter on a trip to South America. We visited Argentina, Chile, Brazil and Uruguay. We had to visit cities and not beaches due to my disabled son's operated on leg. Still we did spend a little time in Vina Del Mar and I pushed his wheelchair along the coastline in Rio. The highlight on our trip was seeing the waterfalls between Argentina and Brazil. It was wonderful to meet up with my dear friend in Chile. Last year we visited the Caribbean coastline of Colombia. The year before that we went to Vancouver. I like to visit places on my travel wish list.
I choose attractive looking cities, palm fringed beaches, historical sites, beautiful viewpoints and interesting destinations.

Hello friend,
I mostly get away for vacation during summers. And thus, I always prefer hill stations. Last month we planned out a family holiday to Nainital, a hill station in Northern India. We stay in Delhi and it was burning hot during that time, with temperature easily reaching 42 degrees. However, Nainital was a pleasant get away, where the temperature hovered in the range of 8 - 22 degrees throughout the day and made the holiday a really pleasant one.

In my moms homeland there are lots of tourist attractions and scenery too.Not only I love the place but people there are very hospitable and kind.
Happy mylotting!

It depends. Now I'm usually going to the lakeside resort house of ours as I don't have too much money to travel around. But I likt it, because it's in a little resort town, which means that there is life (I mean, cultural programs, concerts), but our little house is in a really calm environment. Plus we have the lake and the beach really close :).

i want to first say you are very lucky. your country is vast and you can travel around without leaving the country. i live in a very small country and if i want to travel, i'll have to leave the country. furthermore, i live in an island state so almost every country i want to go i'll have to take the aeroplane. air tickets are not cheap so i can't afford to go on many holidays.
when i save enough for a holiday, i'll visit other asian countries. most times i'll visit bangkok in thailand. it's under two hours by plane so the air ticket is not that expensive. also, i love the food and people there. i try to go there at least once a year, some years more, some years none. another country i like is china, especially the southern cities. so far i've only been to guangzhou but i really love the city. same as bangkok, i love the food and people there too.

Hi jricky1!
When going for a holiday, my place of choice would be anywhere near the beach. I have this attachment to the beach that I cannot really explain. I would also love to go to places with interesting history and culture.

My country has many places to go, too. So, I try to go to other places first before going back to one place. Maybe if I've been to all the corners of my country, I will go back to other places. Oh, but, there's still the world. However, when I'm not roaming other places, I go back to the province of our family and visit our ancestral home.

Well, usually, in the summer for over twenty years, I go to the beach house of my grandparents in Piombino (Livorno, Italy). There, for about a month, I spend truly one of the happiest times of the year.
Just last year, I will, I spent an entire month completely alone, where I could finally live in a completely autonomous. Especially without having to answer to anyone. I do not know if this year I will have the opportunity to repeat this experience, in all ways, a few days relaxing in a resort town, I'd like to spend

Nowhere.Actually I am now not in a position to leave my place. So I have to remain in my family even during my holidays. There are some family problems that need to be solved immediately.First of all,I would try to solve these problems and then plan for my holiday trips.I would like to travel across my own country first, especially our holy places. Our Tirthas. Then I would like to visit the historical places and finally I would travel Uttaranchal, one of our northern states.

I haven't gone on a BIG vacation in a while. sometimes my family and friends will do a cruise. but usually I go meet friends across the state for my little vacations at the beach. or Tyler and I will make a quick trip to Disney World which probably sounds silly but we love it
if I had money I'd travel somewhere new every time, but usually the people I'm with make the vacation fun, no matter where we are.

Everybody deserves a nice and memorable vacation after months and months of hard work. Really, all work and no play makes a dull person. I usually go to a cooler place, because as you know, I'm living in a city, with crowd, dust and noise makes the weather more hotter. The real meaning of "escape" from the heat of summer. Also, it is really a good idea when I travel with my family and friends.

I try not to go far because I'd rather spend money on activities during vacation than airfare or gas. I also try to go somewhere I can stay with someone or stay for free. So the place I visit most often is Las Vegas because I can get free hotel rooms from gambling. It's been 2 years since I paid for a hotel room in Vegas. Also, if I am visiting my mom in Arizona it is only about a 4 hour drive so I don't have to pay for fly and it is less than a tank of gas to get there.
Plus, Vegas is the kind of place where you can spend a lot of money if you have the budget or you can spend very little money if you are on a budget.
