Good eve.
Just arrived at home from work. I see a piece of ripe mango over the fridge. My younger brother said that he bought it and will eat it. I crave for it now and ask my brother to buy a kilo. It is mango season here so I really crave for it now.I like to eat it while eating dinner, our viand is smoked galunggong fish which is really yummy and delicious.
Happy eating everyone.

Your post has made me very envious!! I too love mangoes but they are quite expensive to buy here and rarely really ripe enough to enjoy the soft juicy flesh! The smoked fish also sounds delicious although I have to admit to never having heard of the galunggong fish! Is it a fresh water or sea fish?

This morning we saw vendors of mangoes in karts at the market while we are on our way to work. I just said to my wife, mango season is almost at it end, we haven't eat even a single piece as of today. Price of mango did not went down even there are lot of supplies as of today. This is the reason why we are not buying mangoes. Another is that is might worsen my sons prickley heat upon eating mangoes.

Yummy i love both green and ripe mangoes. Every weekend i have mangoes for breakfast. I haven't had a green mango for awhile and i just want to nibble on one now with spicy shrimp paste.

Oh I like both green and ripe on too. We used to eat it when we are on summer getaway in beach or resort.

I like eating mangoes too but I like unripe ones and
I usually dip it in bagoong. I love smoked galunggong too
especially when it's eaten with tomatoes.

Nice to hear that you also like galunggong. This is one of my fave fish that I love to eat whatever kind of cook or dish it is.

Thanks and I hope your brother will buy the mangoes you crave. Smoked fish sounds delicious, although I too have never heard of that particular fish you mentioned. Anyway, mangoes do not grow where I live so they are expensive all year long.

This smoked fish is really delicious so you should try it. Yeah sometimes mangoes are quite expensive here too especially when it is not in its peak season of bearing.
