If you've ever been lured into the wilderness , You might be a noob!
If you believe GP doublers are legit, You might be a noob!
If you believe gold or membership pin generators are real, You might be a noob!
If you've ever used a bot , You might be a noob!
If you've ever bought gold or an account , You might be a noob!
If you've ever begged for gold or an account , You might be a noob!
If you've ever thought playing on someone elses high level account would stop you from being a noob, You might be a noob!
If you ever thought dicing or other gambling ( non hosting ) was a good way to make money, You might be a noob!
If you ever thought you could trust the gambling host just because he & his buddies say you can , You might be a noob!
If you ever thought handing your credit card number & account information to the criminals at a gold or account selling site was a good idea,You might be a noob!
If you've ever posted on a forum " Please give me GP or an account because I got hacked." You might be a noob!
If you've ever claimed you forgot the password for your high level account after having to type it in daily for YEARS ,You might be a noob!
Heck, lets admit it. If you've ever done ANY of these things you ARE a noob & your likely to stay that way. Being a newb is forgivable , we were all there once then got some experience & grew out of it. Being repeatidly foolish enough to continually break the rules & do stupid stuff isn't.

I'm guilty of being lured into the wilderness when I was a level 3. It was my day 1 back then and the moment I first arrived at Lumbridge, someone told me to follow him. Haha. But that's a lifetime ago. I never believed in GP doublers or buying golds. And I never used a bot yet not because I don't want to but because I don't know how to. I want try botting though.

Why, so you can be keylogged & hacked?
You know those bot programmers don't spend hundreds of hours developing those programs then give them away for nothing. They'll let you use their program for a while till you build up some GP & levels then steal your account, strip it down & sell it off. It's how most people get "hacked".

The "getting lured to the wilderness" thing actually happened to me once a LONG time ago. It wasn't long after I had started playing Runescape in December 2001. I think I may have been level 3 or around that at the time. A player, whose name I actually can still remember (Steelix) told me he'd show me a place where I could get gold. So I followed him into the wildnerness.
You can probably guess what happened next. He did at least give me my stuff back though.

So when are you NOT a noob, I wonder?
I'd also add that you're probably a noob if you fall for the "Runescape blocks your password! ****** See?" I fell for that once early on and got hacked. But I didn't lose my account and now I'm doing so much better. lol
The money doubling scam seems like a new one, but the first time I saw players shouting that out at the grand exchange, I knew it had to be fishy.

I've been lured a few times, but I figured it was what was going on. I've done my fair share of luring though, so I can't complain. It's sickening how people will fight and bicker and steal pixels, as if it were a huge stack of cash or some crap.

Many beggars don't even realise that they would have earned more money in the time that they spent begging by skilling, and gotten experience to boot.
