Pride or Interest

I'm really really really curious what would you choose if you have to pick between following your interest like "The end justifies the means" or keeping your pride high no matter whether you lose or win?

you should always act with pride,not letting anyone humiliate you,and if that is what it takes for winning then it isn't worth it anyway.

In my opinion,you just need to know when it's worth it to follow your interest and when it's better to keep your pride high.
