Almost hit by a lightning...

It started to rain that day, i am watching my favorite television segment. My mother already told me to off the TV since the weather was not good and it might attract the lightning. I ignored her because im very focus on the TV when suddenly a light flashed right outside our window followed by a thunder. I was shocked and my mother hurriedly off the TV with a long sermon, next time i will listen to her.

In childhood we used to do that. Fortunately nothing bad happened that time. As we grown up, we learned what would happen to those gadgets if we don't protect. From that I learned to safeguard television and other electrical goods which attract lightening.

oh yeah good thing there is nothing bad that happened to you. It is very risky to watch TV when there are lightnings and thunders. It is better off during those times as we don't want to attract the thunder to us. The worst that could happen to us is to die from it. I think you learned a great lesson here. Watching TV can be done later but how can we watch if we already loose our life.

Dear friend,
Thank God, last week we too had some thunder and heavy lighting in Kerala in South India. Here in many builing esepcially builings above 8 store have lighting protection. Few years back I was not afraid to walk during rain, but now I would like avoid that risk only due this lighting.
