Its really funny that your loaning a money for yourself which is from you at the same time, confusing right? Actually i already set myself to save an amount no matter what every payday and if in case i fall short in my budget i manage to borrow some from my savings and pay it later for the next payday with an interest. its fun, you may try it...

I do exactly the same thing! I'd rather borrow from myself, interest free, if I need to borrow at all. Interest rates are just too high. And you're right,it is fun. It gives you a sense of satisfaction that you don't have to go out and pay interest on borrowed money, and that you had the foresight to put some away for a rainy day so to speak.

I usually try to leave my savings alone. I am saving up for a trip and I am afraid of touching that money in case I don't manage to replace it. Some time ago I had to touch it anyway. My old laptop broke down and I had to buy a new one. I was only able to do that if I used some of my savings. I took the money from the savings so I actually borrowed the money from myself. It took me a long to time to replace that money that I had spent, but today I have been able to "pay myself back" I hope that I won't have to touch my savings again, because I would be very sad if I didn't have enough money for my trip.

This is a good way of saving money by budgeting everyday expenses. This will help you be responsible in your everyday expenses by not spending too much. You can monitor the things you've spent and avoid spending on something that is not necessarily required.
