My parents have discussion with me today to operate and take out the fybroid which bothers me for 4 years. I was reluctant at first because I have never do any operation before, but thinking it was month to month painfulness, I will do it in August. Hopefully the service at the hospital is not bad because I will be entering government hospital because of financial problems. My fybroid is 4 cm plus and the cyst is 2 cm plus. It is still not big enough to do operation, but I want to do it since it is so painful every month. But the doctor said she can't do it since it is so small. My problems is how to say to the doctor that I want to do it in August coz I really felt painful.

I wonder why the doctor doesn't want to do anything, there are probably rules for it... but the problem is that it's not the size of the fybroid that really matters but the position of it. Even a tiny one can cause a lot of pain and trouble if it's in the wrong place. I would ask the doctor if there are alternatives to treat it, but I guess that what could be done with medication is already tried. You can't live on painkillers for a very long time without consequences. Since you suffer from it a lot, it would be good to find a solution for it soon. The recovery after an operation is a bit slow, but then you would be pain free. If there is another doctor you can visit, you could get a second opinion.

Yeah, that is also what I think before, maybe the position is very dangerous for the doctor to operate, anyway she must have other alternatives, right? As you said, if she don't agree I will ask another doctor's opinion.

No doctor said I can't do it until it reaches 5 cm which I am few mm apart from it.

I would wait until the doctor considers it right to do the surgery. She might have other alternatives for it. Why don´t you ask her why is it that she doesn´t want to do surgery. There might be health reasons. I feel that the doctor has to have the last word.

Hello wongchoiyee, i really don't know much about you're condition is but it seemed very painful if it's inside you're body. You know this is something that you should consider and that is listening to the doctor. but what is the reson as to why the doctor really doesn't want to have you operated.. please be strong, no matter how painful it is maybe this is something good to consider.

Hi!
I think it is more rely on the decision of the doctor since the doctor said is not big enough to do the operation. I don't think they will agree to do it for you if you still want to do it in August. Thing like this can't be push, and there will be risk to carry out operation where the doctors can't do it. So, it is better to listen to the doctor advice and bear for the pain for a slightly longer period. Or you may seek for other doctor opinion of possible. Get well soon!

Oh yspmyl,
I bear it for so long 4 years until I can't bear anymore, I used to use my forehead and mouth to let out air and push back, I can't do it anymore, its too painful, I think I will die sometimes, I even faint before, maybe I should seek other doctors help.

If you feel much painful then why do you extend the date to august? Why can't you do it in this month itself?
Remember, when money is lost nothing is lost but health is lost something is lost. So don't think much about money. Someone will help you. Try to operate them as fast as possible so that you feel great relief from the pain.
