When you buy a house, what types of entertainment do you want inside?

Having your own pool would be really nice. Beside the pool I can imagine it would be great to have a pool table as well where you can play billiards with your friends and family. Add it with a side bar where you can have 'moderate' drinks once in a while. It would be nice to have a sauna near the pool where you can sweat and get rid of body toxins. Nice idea!

That all sounds really nice, as for the bar i will have to wait a couple years on that one till i am 21 haha.

But, my boyfriend would surly love that.

Well as they say, if you have to dream might as well dream big. For me, I think there is nothing impossible in this world and the more we believe something to be possible, it would be so for us. It's interesting you're into go karting and bowling. I love bowling in the past but was never good at it...anyway, that is a nice idea. For me because I love tennis more, a tennis court in my backyard might be more desirable for me.

That idea of yours about your own room with a television set, watching your favorite movies for a long time and with a mini bar close at hand would be nice indeed! In Korea they have this what they call 'mega tv' wherein you can even watch shows that have finished a week ago or so, so whenever you are following a drama on tv and you failed to watch it the whole week, with the mega tv you can replay them and watch them but you have to pay some amount to do so. That could be a good tv to have, but I don't think we have it here in my country yet.

For me, I would love to have an internet in my house so that I can do whatever I wanted to do like surfing, chatting, and I will be updated of new music videos and movies of my favorite artist. Off course, there should be a nice room for my television set where I can stay for a long time watching my favorite movies and that room should include a mini bar inside where I can relax while watching movies.

Well I think technology and gadgets has already gone a long way, and this is really an era of technology and many people find gadgets (including me) as already a complete source of entertainment. Although for me, if I have a lot of children it would still be good to have a big screen tv around for everyone's enjoyment and pleasure.

I would love to have them as well...I would love to have breakfast beside the pool, have delicious coffee while reading the news while the sun is shining with silence around but the sound of the birds chirping and the leaves rustling...serene.

So are you happy with them ? Do you find a good time with them choiyee ?

Wow, congratulations! Do you plan to stay in the new house being built? Anyway, you're very lucky for having two houses as many people couldn't even manage to buy one house. I hope if mylot members can post pictures of their house facilities that they are proud of, that could even be a whole lot better as we appreciate how it actually looks :D

In that case, probably having a sound-proof room would be good. I don't know exactly how a room can be renovated to become sound-proof but I think it has something to do with changing the materials of the wall, a certain kind of material that absorbs sound instead of the sound bouncing from it...this is just a guess. But maybe if you're a good singer, the neighbors wouldn't mind listening to your singing but probably would feel lucky as if their attending a free concert :)

Yes, it is, it should be a sound-proof room. I dont know how to make it become a a sound-proof room also, but in here, i can rent people do it... No, i am not good singer at all, but when i am stress, unhappy, etc.., i often go to karaoke room for singing...and then i feel better.

It's nice you already have what you have dreamed about for your own house. I think you're very blessed. I hope I also get my desired dream home as well including all the entertainment I want.

Yes me too, I would definitely continue to use mylot in my own computer with fast internet connection, with airconditioning opened. I would definitely like that :)

I know how it feels when you first have a desire for something and then when you have it and use it for a long time, the excitement wears out...lol. Anyway, I agree that your home theater would still be a nice place for watching movies and maybe that would be a hobby that would continue to be exciting because there would always be new and interesting movies that are made. Don't forget to invite me once in a while, okay? hehe

Wow, please invite me in when your music room have already finished :D I also dreamed of a home theater and a music room all in one, and I imagined it quite similar to how you imagined it to be. Of course the airconditioning would make the comfort complete especially in this super hot season. Anyway, besides a karaoke I also wanted to have a videoke where I can just read the lyrics on the screen while singing while watching some interesting music video. I imagine eating some snacks and soft drinks while I'm enjoying it with my family, friends or maybe someone special...she will come in the future, I'm sure :D

That's very nice, I'm sure those who are into cooking would also want to have a nice cooking place with different useful cooking utensils at their disposals, probably matched with cooking books and different types of herbs and spices at their disposal. And if you cook in an entertaining way, maybe you can have your own cooking show on tv...that would really be entertainment.

Those two words says it all...well of course connected to a computer :) What matters then is that you will be happy with the speed of your internet and a computer you would be proud to own :)
