My daughter and I are getting close

Hi celticeagle, I am happy about you and your daughter getting along better...thats beautiful.. My grandson is now in baseball weekly and in the summer he will be working as an assistant/counselor at the local YMCA camp, so hopely that will keep him busy.....

That is wonderful news! I am so glad to hear that you and your daughter are being able to work through things. I am actually thinking about putting my youngest in some kind of class for the summer. A fun class where she can experiment with her creative side. There is a place here that is very informal that holds different kinds of classes. She hasn't told me what she as interested in..she would be happy reading books all summer if I let her..lol. Sometimes keeping them busy is the best thing. Take care.

good for them! im happy that its working out girl finally. well im a bit afraid to brag any these days. it seems every time they are great for a few days, BOOM!! they all make me pay for the few days peace double time. i just hope all my friends on mylot and I have a good mothers day to think about for a while

well my grandson is only 2 and he is the only one left on my family side my oldest his mom is 21 and my youngest is 15.. she loves to ride horses and be outdoors and im sure she is ready for school to be out, but she is an excellent srudent top of her class.. my hubby has a nephew who is 8.. and he is into bowling leasgues this year and had bowled all year long, not sure how much longer they will do it but he is good i hear.. hubby goes and watches him sometimes, i have not went yet, but plan to later on when i get more energy and time lol.. great your grandkids have things coming up for them to look forward to... :)

Nice to hear that you are starting to get close to each other and talking motherly things.Don't have kids yet by my niece used to sing a lot this summer vacation and wanted to go into summer classes like dancing class.

Yet I am not married and I don't have a child. My cousins are doing good around here. They are the mood of enjoyment now because now the schools are closed and they have a wonderful time. They used to play simple games with me and used to do the same. I love my little cousins and the little time which i spent with them

No kids close by right now. My grands in Minnesota are looking forward to a new baby for Summer. They often go to parks and swim, etc. Play in the back yard. Dad takes them to Home Depot for the Saturday projects. My son's girlfriend has two school age girls and they are moving to our community this summer. I think the kids are all good at school.

I'm glad that your daughter make cute present for you. My daughters are good to me always, a little issue along the way but nothing to worry about. My youngest are in her modelling course and she almost taken it for months and today is her graduation. Summer vacation is closely to end and next month is another school year to start.

I'm very happy for you. I've been tryin to tell you that on and off all day. I wish mylot would go back to telling us once a week what day they're going to be down for repairs.

I am glad for you so now if your granddaughter does not make any dramatich problems all is well. i am sending you a private message as I got a pm from I thought was a friend and it was a vicious attack calling me names and say in g because I had a discussion deleted I caused her to lose a lot of money and allher other friends. I tried to private message her and tell her I did not appreciate being calledthose names and i had had no discussion deleted but mylot admins claimed I could not email her as shes not on my friends list.I contacted mylot admins as I think they sent the private message to the wrong user name. otherwise she sent me this vicious attack then she deleted me from her friends list. well otherthan that vicious private message things are fine here but no grand kids myson is wo rking so am so happy for him.

Hey there its me!!! My children are being good, we had a lovley bank holiday weekend al together. I decided it would be a proper family weekend and we would do activites altogether over the weekend!!!! So we went to a football match on Sunday afternoon, two youngest were a bit bored but tough love, I'm not into football but there was some eye candy there as it was a charity match and there were some celbs there. So I got into the spirit. We had A MacDonalds etc for lunch as well. Monday afternoon was the twins choice so we went ot the soft play area as they are nearly too old ot go there, so eldest son was bored but tough love!! Some weekends hubby and son go to football and twins and I go and do something else so I felt that we should do everything together and we would all be a bit bored at some point. I put my foot down with a firm hand so to speak. We had hubby's cousins and children round for a meal on the saturday and there was lots of car crash telly on. so we were all happpy. So glad that you and your daughter are getting close, I wonder what my eldest daughter is up to these days!!! We have good things ot look forward to for the summer as well. Wanted to be first to anwser on your discussion but its taken me so long to type I bet I'm not first now!! Sob

I have not giving any present to my mother on Mother's Day because I have no money but I will try to compensate her this 16th of May when I get my salary, I will bring her to movies and restaurants.

I'm trying to keep my daughter involved in the summer activities this year. I think it will make for a fun summer. Glad to hear that you and your daughter are getting closer. That is such a good thing.

My daughter has just went to school,she doesn't like do homework.if teacher want she to read text three times or five times ,my daughter surely reads three times.I asked she:"Why do you study?"she answered:"I study for teacher."I don't know whether to laugh or to cry.
