Who among here enjoy rest days as much as I do?
I love it. I maybe workaholic and have 3 jobs but good thing there's a common day (for one day but still thankful) that I considered rest day.
I can do nothing.
That's it. I do nothing. Don't blame me yet. I do a lot of things and this is the only day I go "petiks" or none in between. Just sharing my thoughts this rest day. After this I will slumber again to a good sleep; charging my hardworking netbook (as it was too exhausted in too much work same as I do) and I do believe that everyone deserves a day-off from nothing about work or any stress factor.
I do my laundry during weekends but that's after shift. I do cleaning but that's on Mondays and after my 2nd work as a franchise consultant. And I do my selling online everytime before I hit myself to sleep. Then for now after this, since I have already finished a good midnight snack I will log off and sleep again.. or watch movies.. or do blogging again about random thoughts.
Happy rest day for those mylotters out there. Tell me more about it and how do you feel about rest days; or what do you do during these days. Let me know more guys!

hi resy.
you really deserve to enjoy your rest days especially if you are working on three jobs at the same time. please tell me what those three jobs are as i'm interested in holding multiple jobs as well for more sources of income. i even started a discussion about it here in mylot, ***opens a new tab and goes through the 'started' discussions tab***. well, i can't seem to find it now but will post a link of it whenever i get the chance.
anyway, back to the discussion at hand. i do enjoy my rest days. mine currently fall on a thursday and friday. its usually reserved for doing errands like cleaning the house, washing clothes, and what not. most of it i spend, having quality time with my daughter. we either go out to the mall, take a stroll at the park, or just stay at home, playing games and watching movies and our favorite cartoons and programs. hopefully, i'll be able to do my workouts during my days-off as well.

hey resy, this is the discussion i started about holding two or more jobs here in the philippines, http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/2222376.aspx.
can't believe the discussion is three years old already.
hope the discussion provides a good insight about holding multiple jobs here in our country. please note that online and part-time jobs don't count. same thing with mlm and free-lance jobs, i'm taking about actual real jobs that require you to be in a specific place at a specific time. my example was working in your first job at makati between 6am-2pm and then going to your second office at the fort working from 3pm-11pm. that sort of thing.
so resy, are you one of those who holds two actual jobs at the same time? if so, how is it and how is the pay for both jobs?
would really love to hear your thoughts about this one resy.

Usually, I would wake up around 5:30 in the morning. I would just simply fix myself a cup of coffee and listen to the chirping of the birds on the tree. I do not open either my TV or my computer. Weekends, specially Saturdays, are my "Me Day". If budget permits, I would go to a park taking pictures and posting them in Facebook or visit flee markets to look for bargains that I could sell online.

Rest is quite important for the body and the mind to function normally, and too much work will wear you out and subsequently end up ill. During rest day, i spend most of the time bonding with my kids, playing around or just simply doing things together especially napping, lol!

I only looking for Friday and also weekends each week,coz only that would raise my interest and also feel relaxed.I feel tired during work days and i can have two days off once in a week,especially on Friday,i would plan out what i gonna do and enjoy the two days.But anyway,life is changign,i wanna find the right person to accompany me and enjoy every sunshine.

Hi resy, I am no longer employed..but I do remember when I
was working I would work so many hours over time just be\
cause I could and it was available..So when it was availabe
i took advantage, because I knew it wasn't going to always
be available...
But now everyday is rest day for me...I thank God every night
because I am not obligated to have to get up the next morning
and go to work... I am truly blessed....

My fave day of the week, i didnt have to get up early! i can do laundry and clean the house..what excites me much is i am having the whole time in the world for my son after doin household chores..i called it quality time.

I have one and a half day to rest and be away from work... but I normally don't have time to lay down and do nothing... At home there is still something that I am doing. Normally house chores. The only time that I can go to bed is when I am going to sleep. I love strolling outside, so sometimes after work.. I used to go to a mall or a small shopping centre near to my work place and buy small stuff or things that I needed.

I mostly used to do mylotting in my free time. This is what I usually does. Sometimes I used to help my mother to her works quite easily. I used to help her by taking and cleaning all the household items in the kitchen and I am very keen to help her and spent some time for playing with my friends. This is what I usually does in my free days.

I am a nurse and seldom do i get rest days cause even on holidays i work. So a simple day off at home with good movies and great food is all i engaged in to feel relaxed and distressed. Being happy and enjoying life after a days or weeks work may not always be grand and expensive. Whats important is you spend it with quality and something that really makes you happy. and fun of course!
