How does Steven Tyler take care of his voice?

I mean the guy is like 64 now and I've seen him perform "Dream on" on American Idol last year and..how does he still do it? At his age most guys wouldn't be able to sing at all but he can still hit them high notes.It's just amazing to me. Is it cause of his surgery?

yes he is awesome, he still have his amazing voices.. i don't knoe if is it any treatment or not.. deep purple vocalist ian gillan is still have a great voice untill now :)

The years have definitely taken a toll on his voice, and he's needed several throat surgeries to stay at the level he is today.

The guy has a gifted talent, the way he sings with his energetic voice and the way he moves feeling the rhythm of his songs. Otherwise i think age is not a factor, although he might mellowed a bit, but he is still the aerosmith lead singer i used to see.
