I've read a certain response to a specific discussion where they argue about how they get paid here in mylot. Well I get confused after I read their responses. The other one said that mylot pays according to it's quality and not quantity, while the other one said that we are getting paid on how long our comments are.
Anyone out there has the real information?

What's the point in putting a long comment if some can't understand it? Also the same as with the topic. If it is going to be based by quantity then we could just type random keys in the keyboard so to speak. LOL!
Putting a good topic or a good comment take time, yes.. but worth paying for by the company. Take turns answering discussions in a sensible way; that's how you do it first then watch carefully who do they bring up a topic creatively. You will know what I mean.
Also a good thing to remember; if you post a quality comment and somebody marks it as a best response; you'll get better pay since this shows that you have the exact thoughts about this topic or you have answered their questions during the topic respectively. this also counts; As for what I am seeing; most of my friends who I am hitting their comments as "best response" keeps on posting great and meaningful thoughts about my certain topic of the day. Keep on posting here in mylot and be creative; it counts!

hi there, yes i agree with the other posters that mylot pays us according to the quality of our participation. I think quality participation is a post that related to the discussion, and to improve the quality of our post try to be descriptive as possible when we make a post whether it is a discussion, response or comment. I do not agree that it is about how long our comments, we still get payment even if we post a short post but contain meaningfull sentences that related to the discussion, as long as we do not post 1 line post like (thanks for sharing, nice idea, i like what you post, etc), if we can elaborate our post in a short but meaningfull paragraph then I think it is better than write a long paragraph but has no relation at all with the discussion (example: if the discussion is about football but we post a long answer about food and recipe it wont be counted as quality post)

It's quality, not quantity. You can read the mylot FAQ and guidelines for more information:

Those are questions that are answered best in mylot´s rules and guidelines. If someone gives you a response, he/she might have confusions too, so you will not know the truth. I understand it´s quality. But you cannot explain yourself (quality) by just responding with a short sentence.

The key here is also engaging in a conversation. You should be responding to people who have commented on your post, not just randomly asking or answering questions. I think that when people first come, they are focused on the money, but you earn based on quality participation. Here on this post, you have some opportunity answer and ask questions of the mylotters who are trying to participate with you. I think you should find your interests and your friends and begin learning the art of true discussions and participation.
