well i was "tinkering" my iphone... lol i plugged it in connected with the cpu and itunes...then i want to restore it back to its old format...when i encountered error 1015. now i cannot restore it back.
now i feel stupid for doing it and i might really be bringing this to the tech lol..and i told hubby this and he said i overdid it this time. But here i am researching again and found ways to restore it without experiencing that error 2015.
i might give it a try first before bringing it to the tech, wish me luck.

Being that it is the only real button that you would use most of the time with an iPhone, the Home button is really prone to wear and tear. But this can be remedied by activating the Assistive touch feature of an iPhone. Doing it displays a transparent circle that you can move around the corners and sides of the screen and it lets you access several options including a soft version of the Home button.

What exactly the error? 1015 or 2015?
Just try to turn it off and leave for at least 5 minutes before turning it on again.

ok...checking my tools- it sounds like the voicemail box- nothing to worry if that is the case.
Just turn off the phone and turn it on after 5 mins :)

Were almost the same jazel, I never stop searching as much as I can when I have problems with my gadgets. I used the help of Mr. Goggle to find a solution and If there is nothing I can do that's the time I would quit. Good luck in your tinkering, I hope it goes well.

You keep this up and it might lead to an entirely new career for you! Good luck. Pretty cool that you can find ways to fix something online. Take care

Hi jazel
Ah! Sounds like a techie in the making...
see, i agree with you and you must keep the efforts for rectifying the problem... If nothing else works, at least you now know the error codes - 1015 or 2015... if you need to take it to the repair guys you can ask them what those error codes mean and maybe they would assume that you are a techie yourself and maybe charge less...
I wish you good luck and hope that the problem is sorted out by now. btw, what is the version of that iPhone? I hope it is not version 2.0
