I am swamped this week. it turns out that two clients of mine gave me an assignment for the week. I'm trying to juggle both sets barbecue I think I can still handle it. One assignment requires me to pass after a week the whole set while the other wants me to do daily assignments. I accepted both assignments and I'm not telling anyone because I think this is a good opportunity for me to prove my skills at organizing and to keep both clients happy. so far, I'm managing but there's a function that my former classmates want me to join. i am prioritizing the daily sets but I hope that my client on that end won't send em revision because it's gonna take my time to do the other set. Any organizing and management tricks and tips that can be applicable to this situation?

I would not tell on client about the other. If you're working freelance or contract, neither of them have the right to know about the other one - it's none of their business. If you find yourself in a time crunch, it's your decision to accept both jobs that has caused it so it can't be used as an excuse. As far as the function your former classmates want you to join, if you have time, go, but if you don't think you'll have time because of your work, stay home and work. That doesn't sound like fun, but you gave your word that you would do the work. Anyway, that's the way I see it.

Thank you for pointing it out that it's not their business. I was really worried that I cannot give them quality work. Actually, I accepted both jobs as a sort of challenge to me. I was want to know how I could go with simultaneous assignments The public function didn't materialize and I was grateful since I was really worried that I might not make the deadline.

So now you know how you can handle two assignments. I've found myself in that situation before and am a lot more cautious now.

Personally this does not sound like a Task I would want to accomplish, because I am sure while you are wanting to do your Best for both of them, it might not leave any time for Fun and relaxation. We always need to remember no matter what we do in life to leave some time for ourselves to relax and enjoy instead of always having to work and be stressed because we have deadlines to deal with. If both are too much, you might have to let one know and do what you feel would be Best.

Exactly. I had less time to do my offline activities but it's also fun to be challenged once in a while ( and I mean once in a while) I have to defer most of my activities until I finished the assignments and I am sure that I am finished with them.

Rather than prioritizing one or the other, I would probably work on them both for an equal amount of time per day. Act like the weekly assignment is a daily one as well; hand in what you do every day to yourself for revision. =) Of course, I say this with no specific knowledge of your job. There might be other complicating factors. I wouldn't tell either client about the other, since people typically appreciate complete privacy unless they specify otherwise. Good luck!

I did work on them at the same. I usually work on the daily articles first (obviously they are priority) then I would work until the late hours for the weekly one,. It's just that even writing as your passion can be draining. Thanks for the luck, I will still need it for the other assignment!
