Hi friends,
Hi dear, I am going to get down at the bus stop (named xyz) in another one hour. Please see me there, we will chat for a while and you can drop me at the hotel. See ya! The call ended.
Now I do not know who this was, asking (ordering) me to see him, spend time for a chat and am supposed to drop him to the hotel.
I know I have nothing to do with this call but how can someone be so confident and did not even wait to hear the other person.
What you would do if you got this call? Do such wrong numbers make you angry or smile?
Share your laugh...
Have a nice time..Viju

hello viju,
Certainly that would give me a good shock lols.
Imagine someone I do not know giving me such instruction- as urgent (hahaha)
Okay, I will make a return call or send text message that he/she might dialed a wrong number- actually, a wrong number.
And wait for his/her reaction :p

Hi viju
That's the demerit of cell phones - and we Indians will never learn. The cellphones do not connect to wrong numbers is a myth and many a times we assume that it is the person whom we have dialed.
If you had an experience with the analog older telephone systems, without caller ids - you would have realized at least the way conversations started - the asking of the name, the hello - Gosh! I miss them
And for me... I rarely pick up calls from unknown numbers on my cell. I know this is unhealthy as incoming calls are free... but I have had the ugly experiences of attending to unknown calls... though nothing much serious but those calls kept me thinking for a while...

Hi sid,
Oh no.. please make sure you have my no/s saved otherwise i'll miss the chance of talking to you dear.
Those times even people had the phone etiquettes and were more polite than now. I think this part could be one of those minus point of our advanced technology.
Since it was during office hours i had to attend all the calls, though DND helps with the calls of hello tunes or ring tones etc. etc.
Hi sree- - hey.. are you back from holidays? How'z it?

I'd just laugh it off. I once left a message to my daughter on the wrong cell phone. I was frustrated with her because she had a habit of asking me to pick her up at one place and yet being at another and if my memory is correct, this was one of those times. It was a purely frustrated message. The person actually called me back laughing and informed me that I might want to try that again as my daughter was not the one that got the message.

Hi,
Probably this person had no patience to hear the return voice and ended the call.
officially once i was supposed to give some instructions to our Mumbai colleague and i gave it on phone (connected thru our operator) at Ahmedabad office. After finishing my words, i was waiting for his confirmation and he told me mam I am xyz from Ahd but it is very nice talking to you.. For the second time in a row Operator connected this Ahmedabad person again and the moment i called out our mumbai fellow's name this (wrongly connected Ahd.) person started laughing loudly and i too joined him... However, i was not hard on our operator that day.

Hello Viju,
I will laugh loudly for sure. Normally I am getting irritated with wrong numbers but if I listen this way of talking it can make me laugh. Just imagine the person is not showing the patience to hear a reply from other side (that much sure he/she got the correct number). Very funny, to think about it.
Hope you had a good laugh rather than get irritating.

@ sree
Honestly, I do not mind callers (prank calls whatever)
But,such cases I consider for exemption.
Maybe the person is hoping he/she dialed the right number and waiting for a business transaction- or maybe personal affair.
I don't want to become a spoiler (hahahahaha) although it's not my fault- not in every way :P
HAPPY MOTHERS DAY DEAR

Hi sree,
That's right.. we can't handle the persons with no patience... LOL.
Yes, its funny and one colleague even commented that he must be giving instructions to his driver or wife... definitely to a driver he won't say 'dear' and if its for his wife.. why should he chat with her (LOL) and if it was his girl friend, then obviously he would wait to hear her...

It's good that you called back. Poor man would be devastated if he waited for hours and nobody comes.

Hi Viju, if such call comes to me, I would just laugh. Why don't that person make sure that he called the right number?
Once I got such a wrong call. That person spoke in Hindi (it is hard for me to understand Hindi that time and also now lol), I thought some one is playing with me. First time I said it is wrong number. Second time the same person called me and asked something. Till today I could not find it out. Third time when the call came, I just spoke in rough voice and said I am going to give complaint in Police. Later that person never called. May be he got scared with the word Police, lol.

Hi,
Hahaha. This person also spoke in Hindi.
I shared about the call with my other colleagues. My friend (male colleague) called him back and told him do not get down at that bus stop as noone will be there to pick up and ended the call.
probably that person must have rechecked his cell and called the right person as there was no second call.

lol. yes, this is very funny. in fact, i got a phone call on my phone from someone's probation officer saying that there was a warrant for her arrest. the person was so sure they had the right number. i wish i could tell the person what was up, but i didn't even know who the person was.

Hi,
Oh God.. LOL
Exactly we didn't know the caller and they keep on dictating us. Though the events are funny but at times it make us think why the caller is not waiting for the response or they are so much sure that they dialed the right person at wrong no. Lol.

Hi chicgale,
yeah.. we did. Just see my above reply.
We never know the situation of the other person but it is really bad they are not even ready to hear what the receiver have to say. It seems he was over confident about the number and it was a wrong call.. hahaa
