For those who don't know about this author, I should start with his BO hit movies
like minority report, total recall, scanner darkly etc..
A sci-fi specialist with mind-blowing ideas
note: Some movies have grazed over the wonderful concepts of PKD, not entirely his story
for those who have read his novels/stories, express your opinions on the best stories you have read
Thanks

I've known of his books for a long time. I can't say I like his gritty version of the future, but he does it well and one can see where he jumps off from to get there.
Honestly, I've read so many books that they all start to run together and I read his so long ago that I'm afraid I really can't remember more than that I really didn't like them.
Not for the writing tho, like Ray Bradbury, who is admittedly one of the Grand Master's of SF, he's a good writer but I hate his subjects...

I like his ideas,
as I have mentioned before, those sci-fi movies (plus adjustment team) were really good which made me have a look at his books
Thanks for the honest opinion
RB: I haven't read fahrenheit 451 yet or his other books though

Hello thankucomeagain, I believe that you forgot the best movie based on P.K. D´k books, (in my opinion, at least), Ridley Scott´s "Blade Runner", with Harrison Ford, for books, I must say that I am not a great reader of science fiction but I have read already "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?", and I liked it, and "The Transmigration of Timothy Archer", far more dificult to read, a more complex book, I mean, but great as well.
PS. Now I know why you wrote the author´s last name the way you did it, since the sistem didn´t allow me to post this comment until I change it. :) funny.

:)
Actually I haven't seen Blade runner yet, but will soon
As for the books I'm starting with his short stories, mostly due to ebook formats
Those two novels are definitely on my list when I get hold of it in paperback(ebooks never have the same beauty), which unfortunately is rare in my location - still searching
Thanks for suggesting
