"Akamaru" That's the name of the dog that one of my friend will give to me.
He did mention that I have to get a guard dog as I will move in my new house in Tanza. It is a subdivision. He did gave me some pointers on how to take care of it. This is my 1st time again to have a dog. I have a German Shepherd before but it was my dad's and he's the one generally taking care of the family pet so I'm quite familiar but not that much.
Can you share me your best practices. "Akamaru" has the intuition of a guard dog. His master raised him NOT to be a house dog since he tend to poo and pee almost everywhere (hahaha...not a litter-friendly dog so definitely an outside dog then) and he has white long fur. Thanks and happy mylotting!

Great name! "Happy", it may reflects the master's perspective in life (come to think of it, "Akamaru" came form my Otaku/anime-fanatic friend)
Did one of your friends gave it to you or did you buy it from a pet shop?

Yes, I will. That's what his master; which is my friend, asked me to do so for keeping him.
I want to know more on how to take care of my dog so once the time comes, I'll be able to do it in a better way that expected.
Thanks and have a great day mylotting ^____^-)

I am delighted to hear that you will soon have a dog. I like the name Akamaru. I suggest you gently brush his fur often. I trained my dogs to urinate on newspaper which then went outside. You should try to teach him the commands sit, stay and lay down. He will be likely to enjoy long walks on a lead outside. Good luck with your new dog.

Thanks for the tip. Yeah, i should better prepare a dog's brush for him then.
Newspapers may works wonders. I'll give it a try then. he tends to do it alot outside. Maybe having a litter box will help or a soil pit so he can drop it in :)
Happy mylotting :)

I'm glad you'e going to get your own dog now.
I want to get a dog too but not a guard dog.
just a little dog to take care of like a baby.
i actually want a labrador retriever. i read somewhere that
they are very sweet and affectionate dogs. but my mom
won't allow dogs in the house so maybe when i get my own
house someday i will surely get a dog.

That's what I secured first; a house. LOL
My friend told me to get a guard dog. And when I told him that I can't he gave his dog to me. He has two dogs and "Akamaru" is 3 years old today ^__^-)
According to my friend he will definitely be a good guard dog for me because he can sense loyalty and see people whom I shouldn't trust. Dogs have great smell and sense for that; according to him. The first time I got into their house; Akamaru didn't growl or bark at me; he was sweet and the owner sense dit that I'll be a great owner for him as well.
Thanks for sharing your views and happy mylotting about it more ^_^-)
