Genuine earning sites vs fake ones

As I was searching for work-at-home jobs, I found innumerable websites - all with genuine promises and many with payment validation. Having said this, I know that most do not live up to your expectation. Some would want money upfront, some would spam you with promo mails and some would streamline jobs as per your profile so much so that you will be left with hardly any. This is one thing about about internet - with all its benefits it's hard to tell the scam sites from the real ones. How do you tell the real earning sites from the scams?

A genuine site does not collect payment from its members. A genuine site also does not promises big payout but gives hope and pay its member.

Theres no way to tell. I will not again pay for anything though. You shouldnt have to pay anything to get a job. Theres some that will reason back that you are actually investing ina business but yet dont tell you much about what you will be doing. Only have your going to be unbelievably swimming in money. Ive been in search of since 2004. If you do find something please do share.

It's not easy to distinguish, especially the new sites. You come to know about the sites being scams only after someone gets scammed. I have spend hours on the internet trying to figure out sites that are genuine. I try googling them and looking up discussion forums and studying the sites themselves before I come to a conclusion about them.

Hi Mimpi! My simple answer is - I do not try many sites. I limit myself to the safest one i.e. mylot. I do not fine time to visit any other site. Lately, I am not even able to concentrate on mylot due to new assignment and other problems.

Real earning sites should allow you to work first, then seek payment. From your payment, they can then take a percentage from your earnings. I don't think anyone should pay upfront..just in case its a scam. Validation of the site is also important, ask around or check from the internet...you will definitely find information about some of these fake sites.

As the first response suggests, if something sounds too good to be true it probably is. Most of the "innumberable websites" are indeed scams. The biggest scams have all sorts of sites that come up when you do a scam search on the name and they say such and such is NOT as scam. Well, those you can be sure ARE scams. Methinks they do protest too much? Something like that was in MacBeth, I think, you know the story by Shakespeare where the woman feels guilty over a murder and washes her hands over and over but cannot get rid of the nasty feeling? Hah! If I needed to make some money I would get a real job, but if I have time on my hands then I pick up a few pennies here and there on the internet just for the fun of it. Even at the bests sites, really I don't think one can easily earn much more than about 50 cents an hour doing internet work and mostly less. Here the minimum wage for workers is about 12 time that any professional people can pretty easily find freelance work offline for up to $20/hr. If someone was really good at it I suppose one could trade in the Forex market and make some money, but that is highly speculative, so probably most people would lose money instead.
