The Saddest Song...

...in a bad way. I mean this song is like showing the weakness of a girl when her boyfriend left. It sounds like she's hoping so much that he would come back to her. She doesn't understand why he left without saying anything. And I don't understand why she's doing it. I mean, I have never seen or heard these kinds of desperate words. I know sometimes people need an explanation for something, but if something needs to be over, then let it be over. When I broke up with my ex-boyfriend I listened to Leona Lewis' "Better in Time" every single day. The first three days I listened to this song I was crying a lot. But then it's more like a spirit to me that everything is going to be alright and it's true. But this songs shows the other way around. This song shows weakness. Although I like it, I still can't understand why she's so weak. She's practically begging that this guy would remember her, and the time they've ever had together. I know I also hope my ex would still remember why he loved me and then why he didn't, but if I keep this hope in my mind all the time then I won't move on. There might be some girls out there who I'm sure would agree with they lyrics of this song, but I believe there are also some who would think like I do. Listen to this song and understand the lyric, you might understand what I mean. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kWakZcEGB38

This song is not at all helpful. "Better In Time," is a far more uplifting and encouraging song to hear following a breakup. I am so glad that it helped you through a tough time. Have a great weekend!

Thanks, MandaLee! I also can't understand if there's a broken heart girl listen to this song to help her. She'll be drown in a deeper grief instead, I think. And yes, "Better in Time" really a help to get better.

hi MissPeggy If that had ever happened to me which it did not as I married the only man I ever loved, I would have more self esteem than to put myself through that stuff.after all if someones dumped you he is not coming back so get over it alright? It has to do with whether or ot you equate your self worth with a callous man who dumped you and moved on,I have always had some pride and some self esteem so if someone wanted to treat me like dirt, I would have shown him the door and even gave a push to get him out of there.

@Hatley: I just shared the song, I wasn't meant that it was my own story. Even I couldn't think of such desperate woman. Just like you said, if a man has walked out of our lives then he won't come back. I agree with that. That's why I convinced myself that I would be okay some days after my grieving days. And I was right. I didn't even beg him to come back, I didn't even ask him to remember me. I just don't want to get a man like him anymore. Lol.

Hi Miss Piggy: I know what you mean even if I haven't pass through a situation like the one described on this song. I love Adele, I think that she has a lot of feeling and put a lot of soul on her interpretations. She is an incredible artist and her love song are so touching even if they are usually sad. ALVARO

Hi, Alvaro. I also love Adele, but after all this success coming to her, I think she needs to write a happier song. Really, after I did a re-check, what you said was right. Most of her songs are broken heart songs and they some kind of describe a feeling of hope that the guy would come back, or would remember the memories. Or that she would try to find someone like him. Now I think I get the pictures.

Hi, Anajoyjoxoxo. You're so full of love. I haven't listened to the song, but I have searched the lyric. It makes me losing my mood to listen to the song. It's just the same with the song that I attach. Anyway, Adele's song isn't reflection of my story. In fact, I don't want to be such woman who would feel like the world is going to come to an end when she broke up. I am fine and happy before I broke up, and even after it. Even now I feel like I'm so grateful that I broke up with him. I couldn't imagine what my life would be if we're married that time. But thanks for your spirit. I really appreciated it.

it is just that people don't have the same perceptions in life. maybe, they just loved that person so much that they couldn't forget them. :))) let's just help those friends of ours to move on but let's also understand their feelings :)))
