good morning myLOTters. cakes, cakes, cakes. i'm not really into cakes but i eat sweets. i only have one cake that i always eat. It's the goldilock's (if you know that brand/store of sweeets) double dutch. it was when my sister bought that cake during my 17th birthday. at first, i really didn't appreciate the cake because it was so full of chocolates, dark and white, so i thought it will just add up some fats in my belly. until, i ate a slice of that cake and i couldn't help but try another one and another one. from that day on, i always tell my sister to buy that cake (only that cake) during my birthdays. :))) and funny it is, that i already set my mind that i would marry the guy who will give me that kind of cake. (i hope i'm not that demanding)but i soon realize that there's other more flavors of cake that i crave. but as much as possible, i would like my boyfriend/lover/husband to share these kinds of things with me. :)))

You should be adventurous and go to a cake shop and as for a slice of each cake, and try each one to see what other kinds you might like, since your significant other can have completely different tastes than you. In fact, that might be a fun date to do with your significant other, that way you guys can have a topic of discussion for the date (which cakes you like) and its fun and won't be awkward.

i am now opening taste buds to all flavors of cakes but there's just some cake that have that super sweet taste and i don't like it. :)))

Oh! You should be careful of what you wish for! 
I remember my friend saying that she'd marry the guy who gives her a rosary. When the guy she didn't really want gave her a rosary (without him knowing about that wish) she was shocked! hahahaha..
I don't think you should limit the choice to whatever you've tasted alone. You said that you're not really into cakes but perhaps if you tried other cakes and other things you'd find yourself confused over what you'd like.
I for one am very much into cakes, but I don't crave it all the time. But my favorite now is from a little store called Sugar Munch here in my city, they have the best moist chocolate cake because their moist cake is really moist and their recipe isn't very sweet at all, they even use dark chocolate for the icing! It's really great!

Thats awesome I have 3 favorite cakes all of which I make myself.
Cherry Chocolate Cake
Pineapple Upsidedown cake and
German Chocolate
My only problem is I make one my husband eats it and i am lucky if I get one or two pieces of it.
so be careful about sharing your favorite cake with your hubby to be LOL
I even have to hide my cookies if I want any for myself!!!
