Well I painted mine blue (right/left wall) and red (front/back wall) a couple of years ago and I still like the result and the good thing about these colors is that they don't go bad after a short period of time. As long as you like it then orange would be a good color for your room.

The color orange is a bright one. And a bright color so it was said could absorb heat. But i think if you make it a lighter orange, it will be nice.

There's really no harm in executing what we perceive will be a nice color for our room. After all, if it's not nice, maybe you can have it repainted to other color again.

I feel totally happy that you are the second one who support me doing so.I'm considering that whether it is necessary to change some simple color.Anyway,it's not bad to have a try.

Well depends how would you like your room looks like.Would it be so bright with orange painted wall? Well, for me I think room with orange wall color doesn't match my furniture inside my room. I love to match furniture with wall painting it looks neat and looks coordinate with all things inside my room. Anyway it just depend on your taste...if its satisfy you then go for it.

Well, when I did interior design, I did an orange peel textured wall in a sort of orange-beige color. It came out nice. Now to me orange makes think of this bright orange screams at you color, which I personally couldn't live with. Keep in mind I kind of dislike the color orange to begin with, but I think mild orange to beige color looks nice. Just make sure it's still orange, not pink or tan.

I think an all orange room could possibly be overwhelmingly bright. Perhaps using a softer shade that is related to orange, such as peach, might be more soothing to the eye. If you definitely want the orange an option is to only paint one wall the orange color. This is called an accent wall, and it provides color to the room, and also contrast with the three other walls. Since it contrasts so sharply with the other walls, its a good idea to put focal decor there because it naturally draws peoples eyes.

Hey,thanks for your suggesting and i'm delighted that peach color is also a good choice to make. The effect i want is something not that bright but still makes you feel comfortable but not noisy.I'll give it a try and test which one to do.

Well hopefully you got a mild orange, but everyone has a different color tolerance. I have a recreation room that was painted bright orange, so it would surely hurt if you slept down there. It's nice to help stay awake in though, especially since all of the game systems are in the room!

For your information, my old rented flat unit was painted in orange. I think it is not a bad color in decorating house. However, maybe you would like to consider if your flooring and furniture color matches with the orange wall. Now I prefer to have my house painted in white and black, while the furniture also in white and black color. It gives a modern luxurious touch to the house.

Hello jrick1 An orange wall sounds like a fantastic idea!! I did this very same thing, painting one long wall (44 feet long) Mandarin Orange. I painted an opposing wall, white, and it goes together well. Have you painted the wall orange, yet?? What do you think about it?
