For me , to eat healthily means we should eat in moderation of the foods we take. We should take out the fats in our pork and the skin of the chicken. In beef, we should eat the lean ones only (although fat of beef is inter layered) .
We also see to it that we also eat fruits and vegetables everyday. Most of all, always be on the move. Sedentary life is what makes one unhealthy, too.

Healthy eating means simply to eat sensibly in my opinion. You need to eat three good meals a day and not to snack in between these meals. Each meal should contain carbohydrates, protein and fruit and/or vegetables. Eat only fresh foods - not processed, choose leaner options of protein - like fish, poultry or very lean meat cuts, drink plenty of water and eat a good variety of foods. I have stuck to this regime for 16 months and managed to lose 110 pounds - so it DOES work!!
Good luck

Being healthy is one of my goal and i an quite sad to tell you that i am not much successful in it. For the past few days i was having cough. When i consulted a doctor they told it is due to drastic climatic change.
I believe that a well balanced done can control almost all the diseases in you. Having an control in the done you eat is the key to success to have a good health. I used to eat all the types of food in control. I think it is very important to eat all the food at right time them only we people have right vitamins and minerals in our body for the proper growth.

I'm sorry to hear that you caught a cold. But you can drink more hot water and eat something that could heal the cold.Do not be disappointed and you'll recover soon.Yeah,it's really not so good eating food especially at night. And that's we should care about that, anyway, eating fruits instead of junk food would be good to our health.

I believe it's important to use common sense. Our bodies need essential fatty acids, complex carbohydrates and protein.
I also consider my blood type and the foods, herbs and spices that would be considered highly beneficial for me.
Essential fatty acids should come from foods like avocadoes, olives, olive oil and nuts.
Complex carbohydrates should come from vegetables that don't spike blood sugar or raise our triglyceride levels. We can also get some of our carbohydrates from fruits and grains.
Our protein should come from sources that are best for us consider our blood type. Blood type O individuals usually thrive on animal protein. Blood Type A individuals do well when they get protein from nuts and grains. Blood type B and AB individuals do well with a balance of animal and vegetable protein sources.

I think the most important thing is to eat proper portion sizes. Because it is very easy to overeat. For example the proper portion for a piece of cheese can be as small as a cubic inch, basically one bite! Your plate should consist of the following ratio as well 1/2 should be devoted to fruits and/or vegetables. Then one fourth to a protein. Then the remaining fourth to healthy carbohydrates. Make sure to chew properly also, because chewing begins the process of breaking down the components of food. Water is also very important and aids in digestion and helping food move smoothly through your body.
