oppurtunity knocks once- grab it or miss it !!

hello my friends,
i know that many of you will agree with me regarding this topic of discussion.i myself have experienced many such things in life when either i got lucky or i regret/repent.
but this is right thing that opportunity knocks once in life and if you are god's own child then may be you can have the same luck twice.
i have many many such experience in life where i have grabbed the opportunity when it come up to me, but many a times i have failed to take a notice of it and missed it some how.
so basically I would like to know, is there any one of my friends in my lot who have either missed or grabbed one such opportunity in life. i would like you all to share some experience here with me.

Yes you have the opportunity to write it here in myLot but never oppurtunity.I believe in this word that you must grab it yet you have to have precautions because not all opportunities are good for you. There are a lot of good offers even me have encountered yet all of it are studied careful scrutiny for your own safety.Remember there are so many bad element in our vicinity ready to grab probable victims.So take good care or you would be sorry.

yes i do agree about what you have said.not all opportunity comes with a golden reward.
but yes it is up to you which one to grab and which one to deny.people view their life in their own way, but precautions are better than cure and some scares do not cure too. so life is too short to commit big big mistakes i believe. so whatever comes up we need to make a thorough judgment before going for it.

Hello! I would say that yes, opportunity knocks once. If you didn't get it, you lose it. That would be agreeable. But here's a fact, opportunities are all around us, all you have to do is look for it. It's just waiting for you to act and find it. If you missed one opportunity, another will come. Life is never to short to try again. Failure is part of living. This will make you stronger and wiser and kinder. I have made a lot of mistakes in the past but it never let me forget that God's plans for me is greater than mistakes. That is what I learned and know about life. Act. Believe. Achieve.

Very well said! It could be that you thought you missed an opportunity, when the truth was that it really was part of a Greater plan - a better one which you truly deserve!
God gave us intuition. When you're suddenly inspired or feel the need to act on something, just do it. Most likely it's an opportunity waiting at the doorstep.

opportunity only happens once but sometimes we cannot grab it for some reasons that is more important to us. but we should not be sad because maybe it is not really planned for us if we looses an opportunity in our life. don't worry.

I have so many regrets in life :( opportunities that can amend my life but did not take it at all. I was once dreaming to study fine arts in prestigious university. I had the chance to have a study in Baguio but didn't take that chance. Now i'm a 4th year student here in Pangasinan and taking up Accountancy, I'm really good at this profession, in fact i'm one of the top students of the university, but i haven't completely love what i'm doing because as days go by and online world is my direct hobby, I am realizing the fact that what i love is Arts and online activities.. Well I will pursue first to be a successful CPA and further broaden my arts experience cuz i know that artist's opportunities are always knocking :D
