Romney is a bully?

That's the story making the rounds. It's front page news in the Washington Post. I expect it to take over Newsweek and Time magazines along with most left leaning newspapers before it's over. Just a couple of tiny things make me wonder if this is a little bit politically motivated and that it was pushed to the front NOW instead of making it an 'October surprise' because Biden started a whole new discussion by saying the president is all for gay marriage. First, the family of the boy who was supposed to have been bullied said it didn't happen and they are thoroughly ticked that their now dead son is being used as a political football. Second, the man who saw it all and was bothered by it these last fifty years, has recanted and said he heard of it two weeks ago from, guess who, the Washington Post. What surprises me (that's sarcasm, folks) is that nothing has been written about Obama who stated in his audio book that he beat up a girl when he was younger. And that in the eighties he smoked pot, used cocaine, drank like a fish and was often too foggy to pay attention or even attend school. With this being the case, how did he even have a stab at those great colleges/universities? These are his words, read by him from his own book and no one seems to think that's worth talking about. Bias in the media? Naw, that couldn't happen. Okay, if we're going all out down and dirty and checking the backgrounds of one candidate, then we should definitely go all out on the other one. What is your opinion? Frankly I wish our president and his minions would stick to the real issues - it's the Economy and Jobs, stupid!

Actually, the family of the purported bullying victim came out and said it never happened. I guess the kid passed away a few years ago, cancer of some sort, but the family is maintaining that it didn't happen. I don't plan on voting for Romney anyways, I have PLENTY of reasons with out this story. Many of the same reasons I won't be voting for Obama in fact. As far as I'm concerned, the two men are pretty much the same candidate in a different suit.

I will vote for Romney although I would prefer his wife as president. Once again we have a choice between not so good and really bad.

"Once again we have a choice between not so good and really bad. " Why do you say that? There will be other candidates on the ballot. Gary Johnson will likely be on all 50 state ballots this election for example (the guy I'm supporting if Ron Paul isn't the Republican nominee). And Romney hasn't even gotten the nomination yet.

I say it because it's true. Ron Paul hasn't come close to being the candidate. Never heard of Gary Johnson, so don't know what he stands for. And if we have enough votes for anyone other than Romney, Obama will have a second term. So far, I've heard people talk about write-ins for about fifty different people. Since votes are scattered, we will only hurt Romney. Obama is hoping we do just that.

They've been digging up and saving stories just like this for just such an occasion. And there is no surprise that this story surfaced on the heels of Obama's accelerated evolution. Media is in the tank for Obama. There are Obama supporters out there who are willing to sell their very souls in order to re-elect Obama. The truth will only be found on back pages and websites.

The truth will never be found in newspapers or most magazines. As Obama insists he has evolved, so have the newspapers. Instead of even attempting to be bipartisan, newspapers now give the writers' opinions. I once wanted to be a journalist, but seeing how corrupt it is, now I'm ashamed of most newspaper writers and editors.

The headline is that Gov Romney is a Bully for something that happened 45 years ago. But what is a bully? Norwegian researcher Dan Olweus defines bullying as when a person is "exposed, repeatedly and over time, to negative actions on the part of one or more other persons." He defines negative action as "when a person intentionally inflicts injury or discomfort upon another person, through physical contact, through words or in other ways". http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bullying Is it bullying by President Obama's supporters when they attacked Joe the Plumber for asking a question that Senator Obama responded by saying "when you spread the wealth around, it’s good for everybody." When it appeared that this comment might hurt Senator Obama, supporters started to attack "Joe the Plumber" including confidential legal documents. In 24 hours we knew more about him than we did about Senator Obama. Now a person makes a political donation to an opponent of President Obama and supporters of President Obama are digging into his past and have accused him of being anti Gay. In Wisconsin employees of a bank that donated money to Gov. Walker. The Union urged people to swarm the bank and withdraw their money. Occupy groups has threatened to protest and disrupt Annual Meetings of major Corporations. Unfortunately you will not see this reported. That is why I get my news from Fox News. They at least attempt to present both sides. It seems that the Left is the real Bully in this country.

I look at Fox News and other news places, too, and sift out what the real truth is. No matter how much people try to tell the truth, their opinion makes its way into the mix. So far, I have to say Fox seems to have the best hold on getting out both sides.
