I finally just watched this unique horror film last night. Really enjoyed it, from start to finish. If you're a fan of the typical American slasher, you'll probably be thrown off by the slow pace, but it does have some truly disturbing moments. Really liked the score, too, and I usually don't notice that at all. Anyone else have an opinion on this one?
And I guess I'll have to see Let Me In now. Did you like that remake? I'm wondering how true it stayed to the original, but I like studying how stories are adapted so I'll likely watch it either way. I might even have to read the book.

I haven't seen this movie but I have seen the remake "Let me in". I love the movie that's why I'm interested to watch this movie. I'm still searching for sites who offers free download of this movie.

Oh good, then I'll look forward to seeing the remake.
If you're a movie fan, I'd recommend getting just the online subscription to Netflix to see this movie. It's less than 10$ a month, and that way the makers of the movie get some financial support from you.

I was really looking forward to Let Me In because the director said it won't be a remake of the movie but adaptation of the book. I was really disappointed that it ended up a soulless shot to shot remake of the original and there wasn't a single scene in Let Me In that didn't also appear in Let the Right One In. The worst thing about the remake is there was no chemistry between main actors and I just didn't care about the characters. The only thing I liked in Let Me In was the soundtrack which is good but not quite good as LTROI OST. There's a video review/comparison of 2 films that I agree with completely: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aoIJzsyTxJg&list=PL5E394269304E0CCD&index=1&feature=plcp
Don't bother with Let Me In and read the book. There are a lot of side stories that will keep you interested and the scariest and most exciting parts of the book didn't make it into the film.

I didn't really notice the score, to me it was all very quiet. It was an interesting movie though. However I'm slightly more of a slasher girl then the slow moving horror movies, so I loved the bit where the heads were cut off :)
