My mood is so down down down.......

I really don't know why my mood is so so down today. I feel sad, upset, sorrow, depressed...since the morning when i just woke up and I want to give up all... I try to do some works to make my mood better but it does not work, i am still depressed...When my boyfriend sent msg to me and talk blah blah, i was gruff and told him that i don't want to talk anything including the love now, let me alone... Hix, what happens to me? Am i mad? I can not understand myself now... Have you ever been like this?

I understand being down and depressed. I'm sure the majority of us have felt that way at some time or another. It can be very frustrating when we have all those types of feelings at once. I hope that with some time passing by you are able to feel better. There is usually so much going on in our lives that we get overwhelmed. I know that is how I have felt lately.

Yeah I have felt the same way about all the people here at mylot. I've experienced so many hard times this past year and I have greatly appreciated everyone's thoughts. It has made me feel like I'm not alone and I have friends that I can talk with and share mu experience with.

It is what i am thinking of also. We are not alone, we have many friends in here to share and talk with. I feel better and better when talking with friends in here, mylotters...

Do you have any problem or something that not satisfy you? It must deal with people if you feel so down. I will feel down and stress and upset if soomeone hurt my feeling, someone cheat me, money problem and miss my parent :(

The solution might be easier than you think. We can do a lot to help ourselsves by eating the right foods and avoid what makes us feel bad. Wheat can be one reason for feeling bad and cause a lot of problems. Also allergies can cause the feelings that you describe.. Its just normal to have a feeling like that sometimes. If its not often then it will be just fine and everything will be alright later on.Sometimes we don't want to hear anything and no mood to do anything as well. When I'm in that situation sometimes I just shut myself in my room and never that I would start the conversation with anyone at home.I listen to music and I find my mood gradually change.Just a mood swing friend. Relax yourself!

Umh, i should not talk with anyone one, i don't want the others feel unhappy because of my gruff mood. Reading books, i am lazy type to read...i may take a nap, don't think anything more...i hope i can get back as normal...

YES! I have and i hope everyone has been like this as well.. Well it occasionally happens when in the morning something i never wanted to happen had happened or something i never wanted to see or hear, came and sang in front of my eyes.Well,we are humans and we still have a mixed feeling of emotions. We just have to control it at times and sometimes, it is uncontrollable. But what is said is,when you are frustrated, you just have to calm down and you cannot show it to others simply.. This may sound peculiar but is then said to be true.I mean all of us have kind of mixed feelings.I would be sad if my marks went down all of a sudden or my friends just keep on teasing me.That makes me get more angry and shout at them and cry without reason. The reason being 'stress', i should but not shout at others.Maybe an hour or two of sleep or meditation could help you relieve from it.Doing something where you can interest yourself with, like you would have fun watching Television, or a movie, or even myLOT!Or hear to some pleasant music. What i always do is i shut myself into a room for an hour or two and then sleep well so i could forget everything and hang up free again.If that is going to be a problem with someone, just try to sort out that issue and it's all done. Spat it out and feel free!

Well, can you keep control yourself forever and you are not be angry with anyone else while you are in bad bad mood and you just wanna fight or doing something to release yourself? of course i know that to scold to another person is not nice at all, but how could i be smart in thinking when i lost all my patient and was mad and anything could annoy me? I don't say i was right, but i hope people could understand for me and help me out of this. We are all human being and it is the time I really need the others' helps 1 hour or 2 hours in a room for alone didn't work to me, i am so so in depression...I am trying my best to get out of it with many mylotter's advices and concern in here. By the way, thank you for your sharing and your advice.

Ya, thank for your understand my meaning. Of course we have to control ourselves but sometime we couldn't. For sure, something wrong and it is collected by many days...and then now i am like this. Honestly, i don't like my status this time, it is not nice and i feel so bad also, but i am in this depression already so that the thing i want now is i can get out of it soon...

Yes, i should agree.You could not just control it.However we try to control,we at one point of time will feel disgusted.Patience is virtue then.We should try our level best but when we are unable to, there must be something really wrong and hope it gets out of you - soon!

so sorry. not knowing much about your situation, im not sure what would make you feel better. is it because yesterday was mothers day? could you see your mom? is she passed away? do you have kids? my daughter was down yesterday because she is no longer around her kids and none called or anything

No, i am still singer. But i think many reasons to make me like this. During 9 months, i lost my dad and my grandma. I used to lost 6 months to be back as normal and can work again when my dad passed away. And currently, no good cure yet with boyfriend, we get conflicts anytime when talking... i feel that everything is so bad and i have no energy for living anymore, it is so tiring...

oh that is sad to hear you are feeling that way ryanong, how come? something is troubling you? problems? But i go through that phases as well.... but then i am always reminded that life is too beautiful to waste it that way ryanong, so cheer up and smile now! hope this hug will make you feel a whole lot better

Hi Ryanong, actually I cannot advice anything because right now I feel at the same situation. my mood suddenly down, I feel sleepy at day time and my eyes are wide open at night and based on my past experience it is my depression sympthon. I try to distract my mind by making something, I try to crochet a hat as gift for family but I could not do it because Im so not in the mood. I try to participate on mylot but sometime I just sit and stare at my screen unable to get my mind to participate. So I check my old playlist and listening to the music that used to accompany me during a good mood, i hope it can help to bring back my mood by thinking about the old good memory. it help a bit and i have plan to go to shopping mall just for window shopping. Hopefully it can help to refresh my mind. I think to overcome this depression is by find out the main reason of the depression, but sometime we think we dont know what happen or what is the reason of this depression. perhaps it is happen because small thing/small problem but we tend to ignore it, and then we dont realize it become bigger inside our mind and it become this depression that ruin our mood. So get relaxation and then try to find out the reason of this depression. dont let it to be a cancer that eat our soul slowly everyday.

I know how you feel and I am sorry. Feel like that since 3 days or so, spent 2 mostly in bed. Haven't been depressed since long that way and have a hard time to "stop" it somehow. I try to keep myself busy plus my kids and take an overdose of vitamines/minerals (multi vitamines, vit. D 3 times a day) and go to bed early. I hope you will feel better soon. Sometimes we just feel like that without a reason, it's overwhelming but not the end of the world. Good thing is I know I have been there before and I will survive this time also. Just go with the flow and spend time with you.

I know our life is up and down...and we have to pass all of it and live stronger....It is hard sometime but we have to pass it. Go pamper yourself in any way you can find... still don't feel great eather so decided to just hang in for today and hope I can go to bed early tonight. There isn't really a reason I feel this way ... which mind sound weird to others and the weather is even better as it was before (still cold but the sun is shining).. so first thought I had was: even the sun doesn't make me feel better :-P

Thanks WakeUpKitty, i am trying now. I am thinking of travel somewhere near my place for 2-3 days, it may a cue for me this time. Ya, you are right, sometime our mood is so down when the weather is bad also. However, i think i am like this not cause by the weather, because of stress, thinking of many things related: love, life, etc...Today i feel a little bit better, i hope i will get out of the depression soon. Something seems really bothering you. It's impossible why your mood is down and you don't feel anything. Think and meditate. Avoid negative feelings because it's bad for you. SMILE.

Yes, it is. I got headache when my parents asked me getting married while my boyfriend doesn't want it yet. I can't stand to see my mom unhappy of it. I try...but it is not easy my friend...i am a happy person with smiles whole times, but why did i become like this?

I think most people have such time..For me,when I am feeling depressed,I eat a lot to re nourish my brain!! I think every feeling depends on what is happening in brain. Sometimes decrease glucose and serotonin in body makes someone feel like that..I think..That is why when I feel my mood is down, I eat nutritious food and listening to music..

I'm sorry you feel that way. It really sucks to feel that way. I don't know how to help you since I'm not a doctor (because it might be depression - but what do I know?) but I once heard that happiness is something you have to work towards. And it's as simple as deciding that, today, no matter what happens, I am going to be in a good mood. Exercise helps a lot too. Hope you feel better. Good luck. RayF227

I've been also like that. Why don't you try to be alone, relax and meditate to clear your mind. Maybe there are things that are bothering you that's why you are reacting like that. Try to relax and don't act like all around you is your enemy.[b][/b][i][/i][u][/u]

I understand where you are coming from, there are days when nothing can make you happy or cheer you up, even the loved ones can't help. I believe sometimes we just need to just be alone, curl up into bed and reflect. That is what I do at least, I try to think of all that I do have right now, people who care for me, my health, my family. I tell myself, I could not have all this and I would be truly miserable and alone.

hi rayanong you need to think of something funny or read something funny as it breaks up your mood.What is behind it,do you know or are you refusing to let yourself spit it out? usu ally when I am in a mood like that, I have some worry buried that I do not want to face but need to. so the best thing is to figure out what started this pity party, and if you can solve the problem just do so,if not forget it, throw it into the forget it sack and toss it in the deep blue sea.Is it boyfriend trouble? whatever it is you will keep getting these moods until you get rid of the problem.if itis the boyfriend you do need to communicate and if its gone sour for you perhaps ones not the one.You are not married to him and there are lots of others in this world.

Hey Ryanong, Every one has this mood but not at all the time. I mostly used to sit simply when I felt so bad with my mood or sometimes I go for a long sleep. So that no one will cal em or disturb me.

Hello, you are depressed my friend. I have had depression for 17 years, and have often woken up and felt the same way you do. You may need to go to the doctor and talk about possibly starting yourself on some medication to even out your mood. Make sure you dont get too low, and make sure you reach out for help if you need it. Good luck, and go see a doctor.

I heard that when we are too depressed we need to go to see doctors too. But in here, i don't know which type of doctors should i met? I don't want to be sick because of too depressed... Back to your case, when you met a doctor, what did he do to help you get out of the depression?
