Hello there.
Yes, I've been hooked up since 2009. And been doing the same stuff over and over. It gets really boring but I just don't get it why I can't stop using Facebook even at times that I really needed to stop and focus on more important things. I can say facebook has destroyed some parts of my life, but still... i couldn't stop myself from using it. It tried to deactivate my account several times already, but reactivated it after a day or two. Haha! stupid things. I think facebook helps you get connected to people we once knew from our past, share things, release our emotions, BUT facebook can cause us MORE trouble. (I guess) :P happy MyLotting guys!

Personally, I hate Facebook as it actually stops people from socialising face to face. It's all very controlling, keeping people in their homes when they should be going out having a good time. I know that Facebook can be used as a tool to do that very thing (getting everyone together) but I think it's too easy to just sit there and do Facebook INSTEAD of going out. This is the bit that worries me somewhat.
Mind you, if you love it go for it my friend. You obviously think it's the "Bee's knees" lol.

Welcome to mylot
I have a facebook account but i don't go there much.In my opinion we should not post too personal information in any site..
Just now i opened face book, i saw many NASTY pictures and nasty comments on them, seems people enjoy posting them..
It seem some are there 24 hours telling, good morning, good evening, what they eat, when they eat etc, etc..

I signed up to facebook in the same year as you and have been using it ever since whenever I got the chance to use the net. Well, I have met several long lost friends and relatives thru fb. I even met some of them personally after several years of being apart. There are some whom I am going to meet yet. I'm happy with facebook and I haven't regretted joining there.

I find facebook very useful not only to your friends relatives but also for business purposes and making money online.
Actually it was through facebook that i am reunited with my friends from the past and meeting my relatives from far places, so it is like a reunion from us when we are having a group chat, is it not wonderful.

i've been on facebook for a long time now. i'm ALWAYS on it. when my computer is turned on, i must sign in to gmail and facebook. these two tabs are always on my browser. i use facebook to post updates and also keep in touch with friends who are scattered all over the world. lookin' through their pictures and readin' about what they have been up to makes me feel connected somewhat.
also, i tend to find out about the world's affairs faster on facebook than anywhere else. it comes to a point where you will have to avoid facebook if you do not want to know the results of a certain game or award ceremony etc.
the games, oh the games...addictive, that's for sure. and it doesn't help that they keep comin' out with similar games that make you quit from one but only to start another. :s

People loves using Facebook to keep in touch with relatives who lives somewhere in the world. Since calling them would be expensive, chatting with them wont cost that much like when they have to spend a lot when the use skype( remember, you still have to pay for membership to maintain it) But nowadays, people use Facebook to brag and post things they purchased, I sometimes do not like the reasons why people use Facebook already. A lot of people wants to let other people know that they can afford expensive things. Creating an album for all the gadgets they have and all the restaurants that they have been to.

I joined facebook in 2008. I used it for many things, especially games. I used to share stories, pictures, and chat a lot, make new friends and stuff. I have some friends from other countries that are still close until now although we don't play the games too much anymore. I only play one game now. That's what makes me stay on facebook. But I don't chat too much now. I only visit facebook to check what's going on and maybe share some words of wisdom, and play the game.

I've been on Facebook for a few years now and I will say that I was addicted to the games for about a year. It was very time consuming and I had to get away from it for a while. I removed the game apps from my account and just stayed away for about six months. Now I go there at least once a day to see what my friends are up to and post a status update and such. I do not accept game invitations because they are too easy to get addicted to.
Facebook is great for keeping in contact with friends and family, especially the ones that live far away. Being able to share pictures and stories is really nice. You can watch the little ones grow without being there. It is awesome.
