I am so angry and hurt. I had a blog with great content many years ago. My blog

was banned. Anyway I tried to submit an article to Wikinut and it was rejected. Guess why? They said my article was plagerized. They gave me the link to the site and darn blogger copied my content verbatim. Not one word changed!!! Of course I didnt know anything about copyrighting many years ago. What are my options? Has this ever happened to anyone before? Still cannot believe this is happening. This has taught me a valuable lesson. Hope you all learn from my mistake.

last months I post one article to Triond, originally writing and not copied anyone, but then my article decline with same reason you explain above. they said my content has duplication in certain site ( they also show the site url ). I was disappointed but after visit the url provide, the content is same, but we write differently. I also have experience registered my blog to an ppc site, but they reject it with reason my blog contain too many duplication, but actually I never ever try to copy someone else article. I'm disappointed but I try to take the positive side and the possibilities why this happen. Internet there are million article spread everywhere, may be we write the original, but we can't deny that may be the content in each other article which spread everywhere is almost the same. sometimes they are not perfect enough to identify if the article contain duplication or not

I just can't believe a mylot friend of mine keeps on convincing me to join the site. maybe she is more creative than I ever did but i doubt i can make a constructive blog. but what i hate is my blog being duplicated by some one else. this is something that am not prepared for and it's hard for amateurs like me to start a blog like that. i'd stay with mylot and save it.

Wasn't there some kind of time stamp on your content? I would have thought that even back then there would be some way to prove that you were the original author. Major pain in the posterior for you though. Sorry you had to go through that. Will keep your experience in mind when it comes to my own writing.

What do you mean by stamp? If there was, I sure didnt have it. Never even crossed my mind. I was just writing for fun. Never knew my writing could earn me anything. Its definitely a learning experience for me and thanks.

When you blog on a site like blogger the system will record the time and date of all your entries. I don't know if they all work that way. Since the other person I think you said used blogger their's definitely has a time stamp even if they set the system to hide it. If would we a way to prove which of you was the original author. Not sure if I'm being helpful here or not.

Hello SergeantMom, This is one of the reasons why it was hard for me to blog. I remember the blog that I have made, recently when i checked it again, it was obviously gone. from then on, i had little confidence in blogging. another thing is PLAGIARISM, if i make a discussion in mylot, some one else would copy it to their blog. which is is indeed awful.

That is true but you cannot live your life afraid of what Might happen. It may very well not happen. Like I said above, learn from my mistake and get your blog protected with copyright features. There are many free sites now on the internet. There are always going to be people who try and take the easy road by stealing and cheating. They eventually get caught. Keep blogging if you like it. Your hard work will pay off some day.

Hello, I am also doing writing job. In this job the job provider is always right. If he say your matter is copied that agree with. We can not any question. Some sites are available to check plagerized. Use them and change your contents of your article. Wikinut accept article which are published on other site. Try to publish you articles on Expert column.

Sorry I have to disagree with you on this one my friend. If you see the comments above, MY content was copied from me not the other way around. And since the blogger knew this, he deleted my content from his blog. Then I resubmitted my content to wikinut and they accepted it. I just started using wikinut and I actually love it so will stick with them for awhile but thanks for letting me know about other options. Good to know.

Its okay just try your luck making your own blog, in this way way you will earn a lot not just a few cents from wikinut. This wikinut just pay so low and you will not satisfied with your earnings. They pay so low like Triond. But Triond pays a little than Wikinut.

Thanks for the encouragement but I already have my own blog. Wow its funny you mention this comparison because I heard it the other way around. That Triond was horrible and earnings going down faster by the minute. Oh well, to each his own.
