It's hard to respond to a discussion which is not your interest

I only respond to the topic that interests me. It doesn't have to be in my interest list as long as it has an interesting topic to be responded. I have ever logged on and didn't do anything because I couldn't any good discussion to be commented on. But it often happens more because I was in a hurry so I didn't search more discussions. I think what you've been through is normal and you don't need to force yourself to respond. We need to post something with quality, right? If you force too much I'm afraid it won't be qualified enough.

Many times I feel discouraged to respond to discussions because they are not topics I can relate to. Some days I spend the whole day not finding a discussion to respond to.

If the topic is not my interest, I do not respond to the discussion. There is nothing to say anyway. Its better to skip it than reply to it even if you do not have anything informative to say or know about.

Hi jobfindonline, I do not force myself to participate in a discussion which is not my interest. When i dont find any discussion that I can relate myself or contribute in the discussion I just skip it. I usually browse on my friend's discussion to check their old discussions that i might missed, or I will add new interests to find more and more discussions, or I will use the search bar to find out the discussion that i want to participate, I dont care whether the discussion is 1 year old, 3 years old or 5 years old discussion as long as the discussion doesnt violate the mylot TOS and the discussion is interesting for me then I will participate in the discussion. We get earning whether we participate new discussions or old discussions.

to be honest i am to lazy to respond to the discussions that i have no interest on. i only reply to topics i am interested on ,because is much easier to find my words and i realy enjoy answering.if i have no interest on the subject it means i have nothing good or interesting to say.

There are some discussion which I am not interested in so most of the time I skip it. But if I really want to interact to a discussion although it is not of my interest, I make it a point to read carefully the responses from other myLotters because through different sharing of opinion, I am able to dig into the topic well and eventually pique my interest and be able to come up with something of substance to contribute to the discussion.

It still boils down to yourself, you must treat gaining knowledge as a passion and do it everyday. Once you have build your knowledge, it is easier for you to share or post quality reply or discussion without much struggle.

me too, so often experience the same think like you job. I set mylot as my homepage and visit this site almost everyday, but sometimes get very hard to response any single discussion. I'm so moody and these last days, I found no discussion which really interest me. I wonder why people easily give response to discussion which not interest them, may be they have good mood and great motivation here

Hi jobfindonline, I don't think ist unusal not to find any topics that sparks your interest enough to respond...However I have never been on for that length of time and not find any post I could not respond to...See I am a very opinated person and don't mind answering post...and i oftn find post that may not be of my interest but I still have either knowledge or experiences or at least an opinon of the subject...I just have to look until I see a subject that I can give feedback.....

Hi jobfindonline! I don't really bother to respond to discussion that doesn't interest me at all. I don't wanna force myself to participate just so I could earn here. I've learned to love this site and I'm not here for the sole purpose of earning, I've learned to put my entertainment first before it.^^ It feels great to be able to help others when they're asking for it by starting discussion, it's a wonderful feeling to be able to share our thoughts and views and our responses be gladly responded by the one who started discussion. If I'm not in the mood to participate in the site, I just leave it be and just visit the site again once I know I'm motivated. There are even times that there are topics that I really find interesting but I don't find the heart to participate, when I experience that I just take the day off.^^

it happens with me as well that is why I am not qualified to answer your question but there are ways to avoid it. check discussions started by you, sometime we get reply to our old started discussions and because we start that discussion it is our duty to respond. search about your favorite topics and interest you may find a good discussion and you may help anybody with your knowledge in that particular interest. if you want to earn money then you should check Mylot tasks. you can upload images to your profile and relevant discussions.
