Each child is a a product of his or her parents and each parents contributes to that child - whether it will be appearance, behavior or personal quirks. I wonder how much our mother contribute to our beings.
Personally, many people tihnk that I got my way of thinking and my attitude form my mother. My father definitely contributed to my appearance, which often make other people don't believe that my mother is my mother. But everybody who knwos me and my mother can see that we have similar attitudes and behavior. even my father agrees.
So much of your mother is you? Is it only skin deep or does it go way beyond that?

well i guess i am in so many ways unlike my mother.. for some reasons we clash - not so bad actually.. but we just have different views on things, even my dad too. Sometimes i think i was from a different cloth or maybe i was adopted. As compared to my parents, i have different way of thinking, different attitude even. So till now i am wondering if i am really their child kidding aside, that is true actually, i think differently from them, i have different attitudes on things..

I agree. I also clash with my mother sometimes and it covers many things and issues. but in the end, somehow we work it out and we mange to be still on each otehr;s good side. I guess we all have this notion that as parents and children, we are supposedly to agree on many things. However, I do believe that the generation plays a role in these.

As I said, I didn't inherit anything regarding facial features from my mother but many people say that i inherit her hands - which are very small. Too bad I didn't inherent her shoe size - she has a collection of shoes that I would like to inherit. Well, my mom isn't impatient and she;s not always right. But she is most of the time. That's why we kinda rely too much with her.

Wow! This topic just made me miss my mother more. Hmp. Anyways, I guess, I got my mother's attitude of being practical to things. I may not have spent a lot of time with my mother but this is what I've noticed from her even though she's away. She deals with things or problems the way it should be dealt with. She doesn't complicate things and she doesn't want to think about the problem too much. If it's a problem that can be solve then and there, she deals with it immediately. Why complicate things? That's her motto, I think. I'm proud to say that I got that from my mother and it will really help me in my future dealings with the demands of life. Thank you Mom!
