hi friends.sunday matches are actually a bore even though kings chased down 191.
the real deal is today.
two high profile matches.
mumbai vs bangalore and chennnai vs kolkata.
one might thinkkolkata is safe but the thing is when comparing all the 4 teams today,the highest point being 17 and lowest being 15.
too close to ignore.
lets have a look at possible scenarios consider for all possible 5 results.
first mumbai vs bangalore.
if mumbai wins,they move onto 18 points.almost at play-offs with 2 games remaining.
bangalore will be stuck with 15 points with 2 games remaining against delhi and deccan.pretty much a win all or go home scenario.
game more important for banglore.
if mumbai loses,stuck with 16 points with both kolkata and rajasthan matches left for qualify.bangalore with 17 points require just one more win out of 2 to qualify for play offs.
next chennai vs kolkata.
if chennai wins,they go to 17 points with only one game remaining which they have to win to have an easy go at play-offs.kolkata will have 2 matches out of which they have win atleast 1 for playoffs.
if chennai loses,they will be stuck with 15 points and even if they win against the kings,it might not be enough.had to wait for other results to know their spot.
kolkata would be in the play-offs.
must win for chennai.

And it turned out to be a great day for Chennai. They won their match against KKR with a last ball six by Bravo which brought memories of Sharjah back. On the other hand Mumbai somehow managed to sneak a win against Bangalore. This followed by yesterday's result in which Delhi beat Kings XI means that qualification for the playoffs is now in the hands of the CSK.
Win the last match and they are into the playoffs.

Good analysis, I think in the first match today Mumbai Indians will win over Royal Challengers Banglore, it's just a hunch.
As the points table is quiet interesting every match has it's importance for the top 5 teams.
In the 2n match I think Kolkata Knight Riders will over Chennai Super Kings, let's see by the end of both the games who will win ...

Quite a good piece of analysis done here for the top 4 the play of in the IPL 5 this year. I think there is deep scrubmle in the middle for the last 2 postion as most of the Delhi and kolkata are in the top. From you Delhi is safe and other are not but you didn't get the kings XI in the scenario they too have chances in to the playoff as they took can book it.
Waht will happen will sure be know to us with the today's match almost.
