Anyone here a hypochondriac? I am sort of like that but after a while, I would feel fine thinking that I'm still healthy despite of body pains. One thing that I'm afraid of doing is consulting a doctor and discuss about what bothers me regarding my health problems (pain on my armpit, tension headache, chest pains, etc.) and would sometimes feel nervous about the doctor's diagnosis, thinking that it would be something major and disabling. I just pray sincerely to get over it every time I'm worried and anxious.
How do you get over it?

You've just taught me a new word. I can't find "hypochondriasis" in the 1981 Concise Oxford Dictionary, but apparently it's been around in the medical literature for a lot longer than that and is, apparently, the proper technical term for what the Dictionary and everybody I have ever known call "hypochondria". !!!!!!!!!
As for "getting over it", I don't know. Having real peace with God and not relying on non-divine intermediaries (who, if genuinely of God, would, if enabled to do so, instruct you to Christ directly - Mary left us with only one instruction: "Whatever He saith unto you, do it") must be a help - if you can get in touch with a Reformed Baptist Church, like www.cubaorbc.org, please do so.
However, you may have health problems that are real. Those related to your time of life will be minor, but if, for instance, it's the same armpit that's bothering you all the time, you should see a doctor. Similarly for real chest pains, which could be merely muscular or digestive, but may be more serious. The Reformed Baptist people may know doctors that won't rip you off or make exaggerated claims for their own abilities. But your command of English (I had to look twice before realising that you weren't quite perfect) suggests to me that you may already have good connections in this respect.

I'm not a hypochondriac but I think I have bordered it a few times. I have read stuff about certain scary illnesses and thought..oh my gosh...I might have those symptoms. I haven't though and didn't carry the worry with me. It was more momentary.
I don't go to the doctor near what I probably should but if I have some issue that is worrying me..I will eventually go. It's better that I know if something is wrong..for me anyway.

What you are feeling is pure anxiety. I know because I suffer from major depression and anxiety. I get those kinds of pain and panic also. It is not a good feeling, but I am not going to die as a result. I try and keep myself as calm as possible. I have a problem doing lots of things like I used to, but so far I am holding my own. But I know this problem will be with me for a long time. I hope one day can get over it.
