Man shot in a drive by 4 blocks from my house on Sunday morning...

I am very nervous about this, I have young children and I am scared to let them outisde. Appearantly, it was gang related and people from Chicago and the man was visiting his mother for mother's day when he was shot 3 times in the head and chest in front of her house. What a mother's day she had. This was broad daylight, around 11 am. My neighborhood is quiet and nothing like this has happened on our side of town. We do have a "bad" part of town about 6 or 7 miles from me, where things like this happen but no deaths usually. Matter of fact, this was the first homicide of the year. I am really nervous about this, because that goes to show no matter how "safe" you think your neighborhood is, there are always associates of your neighbors that can bring the "bad" with them.
