Do you like the new profile page on Facebook...

Hi Kiran! I too don't liKe the new page much because I find it difficult.I do not peep in there too often as such. How are you and are you in Mangalore? I am contemplating a trip to Mangalore next month to attend a wedding.I have not made up my mind as yet. My cousin's son is getting married to one girl from another community[sirname is Bhat ] and we were invited. Actually, I was mentioning to my husband that I would go the previous day and spend the evening with you and go to the wedding hall the next day[ of course if you were all alone at home and if you were there] It is such short notice that I am not sure of tickets though.Tell me if you would be there.

Facebook was my favourite some time back,, Not anymore,, with or without FB,, U will still have your friends if they like you

i hate the new profile of facebook and that is why i never want to upgrade it to time line and almost my all friend used this and some tell me to use this but i refuse this because i love old profile and never wants to change it but if more tell me then i change my profile because i left alone with old profile.

Hello Kiran, glade to see your topic after long interval. Profile have information which we like to share with others. So if we have any fresh information to share than we must be update our profile.

Hello kiran8, In Facebook it is really very confusing to see updated version of profile page.Though some may find it useful and handy but all your activities are displayed here in the form of timeline, which is sometimes embarrassing too.

No I am not happy with the new Facebook timeline profile theme. I think it is good from those people having speedy internet connection but not for me using 2G connection. Unlike it looks good, in the new timeline everything is sorted according to time from the date you have joined. I don't know more than this, because I am still using the old style.

i hate the new fb profile page. u can forget it. it's like myspace. i know some people who actually cancelled their fb accounts because of it. what i hate even more is that they didn't give us a choice. that's what i really don't like, and i think ppl hate that even more, too.

Hi kiran, I too feel confusion when I upgrade my profile page on facebook. It appears to me I left some facts about me. But at the same time it is true that I don't want to reveal everything of mine in public. So confusion remains.

Me too. I get confused with a new look of facebook profile. Or probably we don't know the exact details yet.

Nope, I don't like it at all! I haven't updated to Timeline - I'm holding off until Facebook makes me do it! Your eyes go all over the place . . . and I say that as someone who tries to look at other people's Timelines. I'd hate to be searching like that in my own Timeline profile! I think it's a complete design flaw on Facebook's part - but eh, I know when they make me switch, I'm still going to go to Facebook anyway.

at first, i liked it because we can put profile banner..but then after awhile i realized timeline is so hard to navigate and i regretted how i activated it..I really want my old profile back

I upgraded my page when the timeline was first released, and while I am still a little upset by the layout and the more public/live feed information posted than I want, I do like the cover page idea and the layout is a little more clean. I didn't like how when I changed over, the timeline changed my privacy settings, so I had to set all of the private information by hand instead of the general privacy controls.
