Hi,my fellow Mylotters~ So...I don't remember when was the last time I fell asleep while watching movies. I was just sooooo tired sometimes. And my bf likes to throw in a movie or a TV show during bedtime. I think the only movie I have watched from the beginning to the end while lying on bed was Beverly Hills Cop,'cause it was just soooo funny(or maybe I was kinda energetic that day too). My boyfriend did fall asleep once while watching Beetlejuice. And the next couple of days,he was like "How could I have fallen asleep right in the middle of the best part?" So have you ever had this kind of experiences, falling asleep during a movie? Or worse,a good movie? Or worst, the best part of the movie? :P Please share~~~ And have a great day~~~ Sarah

Hi babyanna Good that you get to see the movies while on bed... I have to sit though them The ony time I walked out of a movie was way back in 1992 - and it was a horrible boring movie right from the scene 1. Those days, I was a regular movie goer and I watched each and every movie they had in the town... okay, I never attended my classes in college - unhealthy thing but I am guilty.

Awww,I'm sorry~ Wow,you actually still remember that? Excellent memory~ Haha, niiiiiice~ Totally get why you called yourself a bachelor last time. Sometimes the courses are really boring. I've been skipping classes lately. Guilty~ Gonna be a good student and skip no class from next week on.

I did not attend classes at college as there were no fans and today they have air conditioners I was more interested in doing social work than study because the teachers made the introductory classes sooooo very boring And I do remember a lot of things - and I think I should find another one (that boring movie or a little more) as these days I watch them at home... maybe I can get a good nap watching it

Not really, i do fall asleep when i am watching a movie sometimes, especially if the first 30 minutes is boring. I love action and adventure..but some films like that have a slow start, I wake up a few minutes later when the fighting starts though.

Hi,stanley777~ Yup, I love action and adventure movies too. While watching those movies, I usually don't fall asleep. Can't say about other types, though.

Hi,jaiho~ Yeah,I try to stay awake most of the time. But sometimes when my bf throw in a movie,it's simply not of my interest. So...guilty here~ When I watch a movie alone,I usually sit on my chair or go to a cinema. So never possible for me to fall asleep. And when it comes to watching movies alone,I'm kinda choosy too. Haha,no problem. It's a fun movie.

Hello babyanna, I'm that kind of person I used to fell asleep during a movie but not in the cinema its just at home. At first I will be watching over and then all of a sudden its like I get tired watching and fall asleep especially in the mid afternoon. When I'm with somebody watching then I would asked what was happened and hows the ending. She would teased me then,,

I do enjoy a good movie. It is an event really and good for a break from routine. I try not to do it if I am tired but I think the worst is turning on the tv to find commercials mixed in and my eyes close waiting for the show to come back but it never does until the next commercial.

I have experienced falling amidst a good part of the movie because I was so tired during that time. I think it was Titanic, and my boyfriend then was kidding me that I sank together with the ship, it was so funny. Good thing that he was very understanding and even watched the movie again with me.

Hi,ladyhemingway~ Awww, that's sooooo sweet of him. My bf is unwilling to see Titanic with me. He always says "What's there to see? The ship sank." I know he's probably teasing. But yeah,I haven't seen the 3D one yet. Hehe. Not sure if I would go see it without him. Or who knows,I may be able to persuade him.

This happens to me way too often! Thankfully most of the time I have a copy of the film. One time I whipped out my copy and saw the best part I missed!

I have to say I've never fallen asleep in a Movie Theatre,as I've never gone into one with anything other than enjoying myself on my mind..(of course, there's a few directors who may have had other ideas for Me while I was in there, but I managed to thwart them !) But I have to admit to putting on a DVD late at night and managing to drift off ....

Although it didn't happen to Me,When visiting My Brother one time we decided to have a Bro night out and went to see "The Green Mile" together in the Cinema when it was released..He'd been working that day, with an early morning start, and as it was a late show,(and we hadn't realized how LONG that movie was!) he started drifting off..

How much interesting a movie might be, it is but natural that you get sleepy and weary. The feeling of sleepiness that sets in distracts you from even frolic filled scenes. Such instances though rare happen in all our lives due to perhaps unexplained reasons.Have a nice time.LOL

That is an unfortunate situation.. I never sleep while watching a movie though, even boring ones.. since i might miss the exciting part-- but if it seems like it's really boring, i just look for another movie to watch.

I usually never slursleep during a movie because you dont pay money just to go there and sleep . One more thing is that its practically impossible to sleep during a movie because of loud noise from the speakers around . So sleeping during a movie is possible only if you have a supply of ear plugs with you every time you visit the theaters . Also no movie is that boring that you start feeling sleepy . I have never seen anyone ever sleeping in a cinema hall . Also not many people go to the movies alone but they go with their loved ones just to spend some time with them . So according to me , its practically impossible for someone to sleep during a movie .

Hi,beachdune~ You MJ fan too? Yeah,I totally get it. It's almost impossible to fall asleep in a cinema. But when it comes to playing DVDs at home,it's another story sometimes. So you have never watched a movie at home?

I’ve never fallen asleep during a film, too loud, but someone I was seeing one with did once.Hilariously, the film was “The Bounty Hunter.” Okay,we’d had a drink or two before the film,it was dark and warm in there, and she was really tired.I didn’t even realise she’d been sleeping till she started snoring somewhere in the middle of the film.

That's funny~ That actually reminds me of one of the episodes of the TV series Angel. Have you seen the show? So she fell asleep in the cinema?

Hi, Sometimes I am so tired that I watch TV lying on the sofa in the living room. But while watching TV I fall asleep and main or important part of the program or movie is missed. When I get up I realize that I missed the best part of the movie. This happens many times in my life.

I almost fall asleep while watching movies or TV series on the computer, but I usually struggle to finish watching it though I feel very tired and sleepy. Once I finish watching it, I turn it off and go to sleep without going on to watch another one. Well, my mother often falls asleep while watching TV halfway and sometimes I would wake her up though not always.
