Many of know how to draw and in different levels and ways. We can improve from time to time of course when we practice. Practice makes perfect, but if you practice correctly, this was said to us in a class by our professor that practice makes perfect but what if you don't practice it correctly you will be having a hard time in doing it perfectly. But my question is making a perfect circle hard using only a pen / pencil? I have tried making a perfect circle using just a pencil and its really really super hard to do, but even when I'm done with it I can't do it more than once. Try it with a pencil only.

I'm an artist and well i never really had formal lessons to teach me how to draw perfectly. but if you don't practice it correctly then i guess that could be style art really has no boundaries it has no rules that one should follow. For me art it expressing who you are and no one can tell you how to truly do it. also if you want a perfect circle which is really hard to do by the way why not use a compass that always helps. but if you truly want a circle in fee style try angling you hand to create a compass like position.

Drawing circles made easily! a) draw a c (using your wrists+arm, not your hand) b) draw a backwards c that connects to the other c c) erase imprfections (additional part of c that sticks out) As an artist, your not going to do anything perfectly ever. so its better to make a bunch of mistakes, and "fix" it instead of trying to get it perfect the first time

Well, I think, that knowing how to draw well, is a natural talent. And I must say that this talent, I have not got. The speech could draw a perfect circle freehand, I think it was almost impossible. The hand, as is stopped, has always a minimum of oscillation. Or rather, you can improve the ability to draw circles, but as they are well designed, will never be perfect. You by chance did you do that?

You are not a machine. Why don't your just reach out for a circular template or stencil? The aim is to draw, maybe realistically or creatively. What do you get from drawing a perfect circle by hand? Have you also tried drawing a perfect square by hand? Maybe you should ask your professor to do it in front of you and see how good he is at what he is trying to teach. If you are drawing nature or people, there is little need for perfect lines or circles. Just draw and enjoy!!!! It is the process that should be more important than mechanical moves. Just my point of view, I guess.

I know I'm not a machine, but I just want to know if you are also experiencing how hard to do a perfect circle. I haven't tried to do a perfect square using my hard, because I always use a ruler to do it and most of the time I don't need a perfect square. ^^ I still enjoy drawing even without perfect lines and shape.

I could usually draw an almost perfect circle when I would just twist my wrist real fast. I don't bother to draw the line slower because it tend to produce a worse circle, so I just usually flick my wrist because the circle would just annoy me if I give it more attention. It's really hard to make one and I don't even like using compasses too. ^^
