Hi everyone, I recently started writing for iwriter and have had some very good experience, the site is awesome and is a life saver for writer like me who were getting work that pays as low as .25 cent for quality article. I've had 100% success as of now and now i am thinking of concentrating on my writing skill over there rather than bothering with unrealistic pay. The problem is some of clients there are absolute morons, who have no sense or understanding of the rules, some of them don't give clear instruction, from these i steer clear. Today i wrote an article based on a keyphrase rather than a keyword. i suspected that the phrase itself would be a sentence by itself but then i accepted since it was a special request now, when i submitted the article the copyscape software reported that i had some plagiarism inside my article and guess what, the "keyword" was caught in the system, it is said that after three such warning my account will be suspended..i dont want to loose it and get a black spot on my career. Should i avoid this client or should i complain this to the admins?

My suggestion is for you to avoid this particular client.Complaining to the admin may be easy but not fruitful.

yes i am thinking of avoiding him, the title are very stupid, i mean how can you write 500 words about a table cloth..but i guess you can...not only does he provide very difficult keywords, he rates me less, the maximum he has given me 4 stars, whereas others have given me 5 stars, he know how difficult these articles are and yet he has the nerve to give me less stars...this is dragging my rating down, some of the clients accept based on stars..so ya this client is bit of nuisance but he is constant giving me special request, that i feel obliged to write for him...what should i do?

Hello there, So far I did not experience plagiarism issue everytime I hit the submit button including special requests. What I do not like in iwriter though is the unreasonable rejection they do. Some may just reject your article for no apparent reasons. I mean, they do not give reasons for rejection. Others give a questionable reason understood only by them

I think some of the requesters deny the article but use it anyway....

That is my suspicion too. What I do is to publish it in my triond account so that it appears that the article is already in use I am not only sure if such strategy is good! I just hope.

@ irene, me too, so far i have written about 15 articles and not once i've got this message, this was entirely the client's fault giving such a big sentence for keyword..that is pathetic, if he rejects this article i am going to write a bad review about him... @ macdingolinger, is that even possible, can you copy-paste the non-accepted article. but irene, how fast do you get the article review, mine i always get the review after 1 whole day, that sucks for me, but they have accepted it so far...so its not a problem for me.. anyway what if they publish it before you've..it would seem like you are culprit..they should do something about this issue in iwriter..

Dear Salma and dear all, To continue the thread, I would like to add that I am writing and going to be paid for my submission. The sites which I submit to they don't pay by piece rate as you mention. As long we are paid for our work, it's no problem here. Remember the writer who writes the series for children books is a millionaire today! Her works on Harry Potter is now transformed into film shows. She started in a hard way. So don't be discouraged. Where there is a will there is always a way. Keep on trying! Failures are stepping stones to success. Get my drift? Thanks Love: Bro. Joe GBU

no way, i think its the best site to write, the charge per article is great, as i mention some people give around .50 cents for 300 word article where over there it is bit okay, they charge 1.50 for the same...why would i want to discontinue over der?

Complaining to Admin will only put this requester on the right track but this requester may not quite appreciate you vis-a-vis his future projects. Admin is quite prompt in responding.

i donno about that the admin there seems a bit slow in reacting, i mean this fellow has had many such negative response from other writer, yet he is allowed to request article, he did accepted my pervious work, but this one is bit difficult..

I would speak with both. Mainly because the client may not have known the keyword or phrase would be picked up on copy's cape and the admin to mediate between you and the client. You did the work and expect to be paid. It's not your fault the client gave you plagiarized info to use. And this should not be counted against you. This is your career or hobby but it's yours. Keep your record clean and professional.

Hi salma. I haven't written for iwriter, as a matter of fact, tonight is the first time I have heard of it, but I haven't spent a whole lot of time online in several weeks or more. I know what you are saying about someone who has permitted you to do an article and then they misrate you after you have done the work appropriately, but they have made an error. It has happened to me on a site where I used to work. I did real well earning on there, but there would be the people who misrated me when they were totally wrong or had made an error themselves on their instructions to do the job. It really peeved me. I always wrote to the admin about these. I would do as the lady above said and don't give them a star, but also report it to admin. It's not fair that you use your time to complete something and then you don't get credit for it or it shows up in your profile that you didn't do it correctly. I wish you the best and maybe you can get all this ironed out and iwriter will take a closer look at what's going on before they submit their requests to the writers.

it's okay chrystaltears, thanks for the comforting words...thing is the admin is pretty slow in taking action, they should have some monitoring system for clients as well to prevent these sort of mishaps and protecting the writer, so have atrocious demands like they want 500 word article but will pay only for 300 words..what can i do, plus there is no direct link to the admin..

I have worked on iwriter some too. I steer way clear from directions that use strange keywords that do not make sense or do not fit grammatically in a sentence. I would rate the client with no stars - that's the only way to affect them. I would also write a note warning other authors. I have not taken what looked like easy jobs on iwriter simply because of a review I read that informed of such ill dealings. And I would also write to the admin and explain what happened for sure!

Thanks for the advice, yes i was just going around from one author's homepage to clients and found that there are clients who reject the article for no good reasons. i am really shocked to see such things...The admin should take action in this case.. and yes i did avoid this article when it was in the standard column but he gave special request which got me into this mess..i lost 0.05 cent for this purpose..it's such pain..its not like they are paying 100$ per article so why make it so hard and so stupid
