You know how you watch those shows or read those biographies and people talk about their "passions".. I don't think I have one. I don't have that one thing that knocks me off my seat when I am doing it in my life. I'm a mom, and I love my children but I don't consider that a passion it's more of a blessing. I love to read, but it takes me forever to finish a book because when I sit down to read I only get a few seconds because my kiddos are usually hollering. I love to take pictures but I don't know much about cameras but I really like to take black and white photos on my phone or my litte house camera. I love sports but now that I am out of school and have babies I don't play anymore... and there are tons of other things that I love and like doing but I don't think I am just down right passionate about any of them.. Does this mean that I wierd? Or does it mean that I am just a jack of all trades and a master of none kind of person?

You are not weird. You are just overwhelmed at the moment. If you wait for passion to come to you, you will wait a very long time. Create your own passion. Search online for a great book to read or order my book I wrote 'Confessions of a Gambler' which won the Sunday Times Literary Award in South Africa. I wrote the script too for the film and acted and directed. Come on girl, smile...

Hello SissyRose, I think you do have some passions but the thing is, you do not get to realized it to its full potential because you are hindered by your other responsibility as a mother. While it is good that you are doing good in taking care of your child, I learned somewhere that mommies like you should also set time for themselves to do the things they love the most, and to do some things for themselves. I hope you get to have time for that so that eventually you may realize your passion.

I think that there are a lot of people who have a lot of things that they really enjoy but really are not passionate about any of them. They are hobbies that really just keep them busy a lot of the time but to say that one thing would be their passion would be really something that would be rather false to rather say the very least.
Of course, for some people, it does take a while for them to really get a hold of something that they are passionate about. One day, it just seemed like I really grew into my passion for writing. I think that there were many false starts and near misses, there is just something where I was lifted right out of that direction into one. Right out of the jack of all trades, master of none. Of course some sadly never reach that point.

Don't worry Sissy, you're not weird at all. My sis calls me jack of all trades too, because I'm quite like that like you do. There are just too many interesting stuffs in the world that we people can't help but want to try them all.(Ive found mine, but that doesn't stop me to still find and try many things out there.) We may indulge ourselves in them, but there'll still be no satisfaction. I was also quite annoyed with myself too because of my attitude to get tired of things easily, and I would just try another and/or more, but we can't help it we're born like that. We're practically life explorers, and according to an article from the magazine Psychology and in the internet, our personality is called Scanners. We have a variety of interests and I think we're a lot better than the so-called boring Specialist, they are the people who focuses on one desire and thing. It was said that if scanners force themselves to focus on one thing/career, etc. their productivity suffer. Well anyway, being a scanner is really cool, and don't you worry because God didn't make our fingers the same, and so are human; you don't have to compare yourself to the 'passionate' ones. ^^ Have a nice day anyway! :D
