i think that we believe whatever we feel. we classify ourself according to what we feel. we define our personality according to what kind of emotions that often control us. if w usually get angry, that we say that our personality is like that. i think that our emotions rob us of our opportunity to make right decisions in life and to enjoy life. but it is hard to overcome our emotions as often time our emotions dictates our decisions .

Emotions can really play a huge effect in many of the decisions that we make and indeed, it can be a huge effect in many of the wrong decisions that we are going to make. That is rather the fact of the matter, there are just times where if we are upset and angered about something, that is just going to be something that is going to cause us a great deal of frustrations.
In the end, emotions is something that cannot really get the better of us, for any reason. Because once our emotions do get the better of us, then there are just going to be a rather tormented life, where things are going to rather fall right apart. Emotions can be something that can make us good but when making some decisions, it is essential to remain detached. To make the smartest decisions for our lives to move forward.

I 100% agree with you. I have reacted badly many times out of emotion and kicked myself later on for it. I almost did it again tonight until I read this discussion so thank you! You saved me from possibly a big mistake! I am going to use my head in this situation and forget how my hurt heart is feeling. I am trying hard to ignore my emotions right now...

good day hotsummer,
indeed you are right. hence, our emotions are one of the great factors that really influence us in many aspects. often times we tend to do abrupt decisions due to our emotions. either we are happy or sad, decisions that we usually done during this stage are not leading to very good outcome. as a result, we ended up with a bit regret after.

yeah..but we need to control our emotions..sometimes when I hear someone talk something bad about me, I really get pissed but I always try to control myself not to get angry..because if I will get angry, I feel like I am a loser and like I am agreeing to whatever that person says..I just let them say what they want and I just mind my own business..

often our emotions drive us either to destruction, or zwyciestwa.Cale life is based on what we were emocjach.Ale if they do not, after all thanks to the emotions we express ourselves, allows you to explore on each side, without emotion we would be empty, uninteresting and perhaps failure.

I belive that people are like cars. emotion is fuel, it makes us move, it gets us places. Our mind is the steering wheel, thinking is an important part of being. The better a person can think the better they can drive and therefore succeed in life as highly moble focused individual.

i wish we could live like a vulcan on star trek and not have any emotions, but that won't be realistic. our emotions do have to have some say. the trick is to know how much and when your emotions have the say so. it's a balance between heart and mind.

i think you are so right, our emptions can ruin pur lives if we let it or listen to it all the time, we sometimes have to push them aside and think and try and do waht is right for us not what our heart says but our brain.. i think our heart can lead us astray as it can get broken as well but your head is what you need to listen to it is the smartest part of your body you know.. i know if i even go to the grocery store hungry i will buy 10 x as much as when i go if im full, so i seldom go when im hungry or always eat rigth before i go saves me a ton of money that way, if im not hungry i can pass up things i would ahve bought if i was hungry
take care good comment :)

Every one of them have emotions in their life and all of them are freed to express them freely but make sure that those emotions do not make you bad. Always have an control on yourself. Try to control yourself in any of the situations and this will lead you to see wounder around you.

Our emotions should serve as a guidance system to us, alerting us that something is either good or bad, wrong or right in our world. When we feel negative emotions such as fear, anger, hatred, jealousy etc it is a warning signal to us that we are not in alignment with the loving, caring, spiritual side of our being. When we feel positive emotions such as love, happiness, joy etc it is a signal that we ARE in alignment with our inner being, that we are at peace within ourselves. Therefore we should listen to what our emotions are trying to tell us.
I believe that we should not let our emotions control us, we should learn to control our emotions. Negative emotions can be destructive and cause us to make decisions that we may later regret. When one acts out of fear or anger, no good can come of it. It is essential for our well being that decisions be made with a clear mind, not one that is clouded by negative emotions. The key to controlling our emotions is in thought. Positive thinking brings about positive emotions, negative thinking brings about negative emotions.
For someone to say that "their personality is like that", they are just trying to excuse their own ill behaviour. One has to take responsibility for their anger, (or whatever negative emotion), learn to control it thus change their personality. For those who refuse to do so or say they won't change are only hurting themselves.
Yes I agree that some of our emotions rob us of the opportunity to enjoy life.
