yes love is indeed a gift from good,, long distance relationship is quite hard to handle, basing on my experience my boyfriend is miles away from me because of his work , both of us need to trust each other so that we will have a stronger relationship, we keep on communicating everyday, he calls me when he wake up and before going to bed, .. and right now im missing him much it's been two weeks since we last saw each other , hope i can see him today :(

I myself don't believe that a long distance relationship will work. If it happened to me, I'm afraid that I can't trust my boyfriend. I'm afraid that he will find a better girl out there. But, I have a friend who succeed on having a long distance relationship, not a smooth relationship, her boyfriend cheated on her several times, they often had a fight, broke up and re-united, and so on. But, luckily she ended up getting married with her long distance boyfriend. Her Love story just like a movie. hahaha..

as long as both of the couple in LDR can be loyal and trust each other, LDR is fine and okay..

love has nothing to do with god or being a gift.. if you most people are very ungrateful and don't appreciate the gift. This besides of the fact the long distance relationship discussion is started here daily for many times!

I think it is really hard to be in long distance relationship because the couple that involve in long distance relationship need a long patience, understanding, trust and they must keep in touch to each other even they are in a long distance. I heard that there only few couples survive in this relationship but i think it still depend on the couple.

There's no other way but to strengthen your trust with one another. Perhaps it would be binding if there is commitment attached to it too. Love, no matter how distance or near, it must bring a positive outlook with the people involved. What a better way of a long distance relationship than what God does. He's in heaven, and we're here on earth.

I do think that you're right when you say that love is something very special; and it is never something that we should be taking for granted. With regards to long distance, I think the internet allows us to keep in touch more than ever and this should mean that there is a never a time where we are not able to speak to the one who we love. Providing that you both make the effort to stay in touch when you agree to the relationship should progress nicely. Some people cannot cope with long distance, but if you feel as though you can then that is of course great.

hello there! long distance relationship. well how do i start? i have had this kind of relationship once, but i never consider long distance relationship as complicated thing (since it already is and there's no need to complicate things any further).. i guess for us it never worked out because we lacked Trust to one another, we were always assuming things that weren't really necessary to think of. we lacked understanding, and one of us thinks and acts immaturely. so i have learned that if you plan to enter a long distance relationship, both of you needs one word - TRUST. and everything will surely go fine and work well for both of you! make sure you would never lose communication because that's vital for you relationship to continue and build more trust and love. last but not the least, PUT GOD AT THE CENTER OF YOUR RELATIONSHIP. those things are enough to work. believe me.

I am in LD right now and I can say that everything is really getting better and sometimes have a wave of misunderstanding and argument. There is no perfect relationship but making it better and learning from it, for me that is what really counts.
