Despite the dispute on the Scarborough shoal and the NAIA 3 incident (it's not the incident that's alarming but the condition of NAIA 3), I read about this nonsense that is not even worthy of calling news.

Media people are really happy at times like this, when there are multiple issues that need urgent resolution and manipulate which information shall be relayed to us. Most of
the things they report are nonsense and they always miss the most important part that they should really report. Ooooooooooooooooooooooh if I could only go overseas.

Hello Alphenor, I don't know about this news, it seemed they don't have that much to report on anymore. as if the story is something Filipinos would wanted to watch on i think. this news is more showbiz than politics. oh, yeah i forgot that media has combined both showbiz and politics. so sad what country had we become

And I thought I am not getting a tabloid sort of news from Interaksyon. My bad. Anyway, don't hope for a fair media even in far distant lands. Unless you want to watch more sided media overseas.
Frankly, I was disappointed because this issue is an old issue and I don't know if it is really getting resolved. or the industry plans to go back to the basics and where the real issues are about the people and not just one powerful person. Sure, the guy was the president but I don't think many people would really want to hear about his love or his personal issues with anyone. I mean, if I were in his place I would be damned and annoyed.
Or perhaps, these so-called journalists can have any more story worth publishing?
Quite sad that the media will stoop to the level of mediocrity just because most of the population superscribes to it.

I know, im disappointed too to the kind of media we have right now. Instead of giving us information about the conflict because of the shoal, they're more interested in showing us the love life of our president.. Who really cares if the president is single or not right? Isn't the most important right now is what he have done to our country to maintain peace and orderly? And what projects he have done for our country to be more progressive?
