I love to listen to old people , I think they have much to share , I never get bore , they have such a long experience in life. Some of them repeat the same story once and once again , but , I just enjoy them , I feel they are so cute. I didnt have the chance to meet my grandparents, so, when I see old people I love to seat down with them and have a long talk with them. We can learn a lot from them. How do you feel with old people?.

Well, now that i am actually getting physically old, i think you should listen, lol! actually the word "old" is quite synonymous to "gold" as the value component has been profound as time goes by, lol! but seriously, i think experience would speak for itself as time goes by tending towards a more enormous of fund of knowledge of life.

I have my grand mother still alive with me. I love her and respect her. Give respect take respect is the principle to maintain relation ship. So i respect all the ones who are younger than me, especially the old people. I used to leave my seat to the old people if they are near to me. This is an excellent example to show my love and respect to old people and i am happy to telll you that i used to do the same to my grand mother and i used to lend my ears to them because Old is gold

Well a lot of them would really have something that is rather interesting to say to say the very least. Granted, there is a lot of ranting with some of them about how every generation after them was the absolute worst to say the very least. But still beyond that, when you listen to them, actually sit down and listen to them, they have some good points.
A lot of them have really been there and absolutely done a lot right in the world when you think about it. It just is really just something that just fascinates me, really makes me think. Then again, it doesn't really matter the age, when you really think about it, but there are times where elders are really just the most fascinating to really just talk to. They have a lot to say if people will listen.

I did not realize this before i'm getting into college. But now since i'm adult, there are indeed sensible for those people to tell me the useful words ,and i would of course listen to before starting anything.lol,we can indeed learn a lot and therefore easier to get to the right path.

hello friend,
well yes i do agree with you. Old people have lot of experience in life and they have many things to share too.
Old people have seen the world from a long time and they have also seen many changes happening to this world and to its people.
The old people have their own way of viewing things but whatever they share they share from their own experience.
I love to listen to my grandpa and grandma and i really do miss them at times. they are old and ailing now and they are counting their days.
but i do want to meet them and sit by their side and take their hands in mine and speak to them.i want them to share with me whatever they want and i would like to be their support.
but right now i am far away from my home and doing my job.I cannot go back to them whenever i want.i really do miss them a lot but alas their own children have not understood them and neglected them.

That is good you still have your grandparents, too bad they are so far. but , God knows why. Well , yes its true , their stories turn out to be very interesting since times changed a lot , and now with the new technology things are easier than before , they had hard time doing things in a very primate way, they worked harder than us in those old times. Thanks my friend for sharing.

If they are telling stories, I love listening to them! I mean, I love listening anecdotes about eras I didn't live in, their experiences, any life stories. But then they are constantly complaining about anything and everything, especially modern technology and teens, that can be really annoying-for me at lest.

I very much enjoy being around the old, or elderly. They have lived such full lives and it's amazing to hear some of the things these people have done. My sister and a friend once went to visit an elderly woman in our church, and in talking to her that found out she used to do the trapeze in a circus. She even had photos.

Yes, i agree with you. I also like to listen to old people especially my parents. Not only their success story but also their life when they are still young.
My father like to tell me the story about him and my mum, how he knew my mum, how was their dating and etc, and i feel so sweet to listen to it.

I work in a nursing home, or as some call it a home for the aged. If I didn't like old people I'd be in trouble!! Part of the reason old people are so interesting and likeable is because they have shed a lot of their inhibitions. At their age they figure they have earned the right to say and do as they please and besides, they really don't care whether you like it or not or whether you agree with them or not. This gives them the freedom to be themselves.
Yes they have a lot of experience and stories to share. And, when you think about it, they didn't survive as long as they have without having some knowledge about life and how to live.

I feel the same way as you do. I've always admired their perspectives in life and I like listening to their stories, from all the mistakes and hilarious moments they've gone to the best experiences of their lives. They could teach us many things, whether it's a physical activity, spirituality or life. They actually have the best stories of all times. ^^ I've met my grandparents except for my grandpa in my father's side. But even if I've met, we really don't have a close relationship, I could even say that we don't have any relationship at all except for the fact that their blood flows in my very veins. This was what pushed to dream of having grannies and grandpas as friends but I really don't have them in the neighborhood, it would really have been cool if I could be-friend an oldie who isn't nasty or rude.

As a nearly 21 year old, I absolutely find it a pleasure to talk to someone with 10 times the wisdom I have. Older people can share so much with us and all we have to do is listen.

I love talking with my grandmother. She is 81, soon to be 82. She is very wise and has had a ton of things happen to her over the years. I enjoy hearing about her life on the river as a child and also hearing about her and my grandpa's early years when they were dating. There is a lot to be learned from older people. I love talking with them as well.

I believe that almost all or if not all - our old people have the wisdom of almost everything , their wits are being tested by time, confronted every challenges and withstood any obstacle in life. It is a very good idea to bond with them even those strangers in the cafeteria, barber shop or almost everywhere. By sharing those precious thoughts, who knows, I can be a better person. And as time pass by, I for one, will also grow old and will have my fair share on those "things" to the younger generation.
