Do you think Bayern have it in them to beat Chelsea in Saturday's final?

Two teams that have under-performed in their respective leagues go head to head to win the biggest of the titles. For Chelsea it is very simple equation, if they do not win they will not play in Champions League next season. For Bayern, they are at home with their fans screaming their lungs out.
Do you think Bayern can pull out this win at home?
Cheers!

Both teams have what it takes to win the Big Ear Cup. But Bayern Munich will have the advantage of playing at home so Chelsea is the underdog in this final. Great teams like both of them will try to win every match regardless of whether there is anything to fight for. The pride will not let them take it easy.
I want Chelsea to win. I want Di Matteo to win.

In Roman Abramovich, no one can tell what is in his mind but from the impressions he has shown to us since he took over Chelsea, it does not seem that Di Matteo is in the class of managerial candidates he likes. But by winning the cup, Di Matteo will be giving his current boss a stronger reason to retain him, other wise he will need to look for a new boss next Monday.
With Liverpool, Aston Villa and a number of teams now seeking new manager, Di Matteo may be able to get a job soon if Chelsea decides to release him. But I hope he gets the Chelsea job for at least another season. By the way, I am a Manchester United fan :)

Well as a Bayern fan my hopes are on Bayern. Despite that I think that's the first final that I don't know what to expect, since both teams will have many changes cause of the banned players. Whoever's substitutes perform the best they'll have the upper hand. I just hope that Alaba's substitute would perform well :)

Yes, the banned players would play a critical role in this final. Looking at the players banned, I think Chelsea's banned players, Terry, Lampard and Raul Meireless are more central to their plans and I think it would affect them a bit more than the suspensions will hurt Bayern.
Cheers!

The Robben miss was the crucial turning point of the game. He could have killed off the game then. But, the other turning point was of course, the goal by Drogba. Till that point Chelsea had hardly looked threatening, but when they needed the goal, Drogba was there to do the job.
Cheers!

No I don't But... I didn't think QPR could beat Man City! This os why they play the match. Anything can happen! I'm still in shock over Man City's come from behind win! So We will have to see. If you put me on the spot , I would say Chelsea would win 2-1? 3-2?

Just to give you the stakes in this match. This is Bayern's only chance for a title this season. And this final is being played at their home ground and you never know when such a chance would come again.
On the other hand, for Chelsea, this is the last chance for greats such as Drogba, Lampard and Terry to win the biggest cup of all.
Cheers!

I think both clubs would be under different kinds of pressure. For Bayern this could mean a trophyless year. For Chelsea, this is probably the last time the likes of Drogba, Terry and Lampard would figure in a Champions League final. So both teams would be under pressure.
Cheers!

Is it true there are only about 25,000 allocated tickets for each set of "real" fans? Maybe even less I don't know..so the home fans screaming their lungs out might not actually be accurate because the locals won't have all the tickets. VIPs that are serial trophy hunters will make up a lot of the crowd, something I don't agree with but it would be the same wherever the final was played, it makes no difference, unfortunately.
That said, I think it will be a closer run match than people give it credit for but, with me being English (obviously) I would LIKE Chelsea to win but whether they will or not I really don't know.

I agree with you that this will be a close match. I think both teams are more or less on the same skill level and are very determined teams.
Coming to your comment on tickets, unfortunately ever since the businessification of the sport, the fans have to play second fiddle to these luminaries on big events. Sad but true.
Cheers!

I think that any team which comes to the final of the strongest footbal league can win. Even if it was 2nd league club. I also think that advantage of playing home for bayern isn't really an advantage, because as I know tickets will (or are) be splited betwen fans of both clubs.
However I hope that Bayern will win because I really don't like Chelsea . :)
