We are at the closing stages of the Indian Premier League and look at the teams at the top of the table. Delhi Daredevils lead by the blistering Sehwag, Kolkata Knight Riders lead by undisputed Gambhir and Mumbai Indians who has Sachin Tendulkar as their main opening sphere headed batsman. Now, these 3 players are so called "senior players" in the Indian cricket team who have been commented to leave the Indian team as they are not fit to play the 50 over game! But, they are proving to be at the top even in the 20-over game. Aren't they under-estimated in the Indian team?

I think for Mumbai apart from Sachin, Rohit has been playing well and that also augurs well for the Indian cricket Team. For me the key output of this tournament is the young Indian pacers. Umesh Yadav, Aaron Varun and Awaana have really caught the eye with their brilliant performances so far. I hope they can continue to do well for India.

A very interesting observation! kudooos friend. I have always believed that cricket is a bowling game! Umesh Yadav was selected for the Australian tour and coutesy MS Dhoni that he used Umesh Yadav after 25 overs! Not even as a first change in pacy Aussie tracks! Boy-o-boy he swung even the 25 over old ball at 150 Kmph. He is the bowler whom India need desperately! And, he was dropped in the Asian cup for no reasons! Where is the Indian cricket moving??

I agree that handling of the pacers is one of the weakest parts of Indian Cricket. So many times in the past good talents have come and then suddenly seemed to go off without a trace. Irfan Pathan is a striking example of this. Let's hope that this time around we manage to do some justice with these talented youngsters.

This ipl edition is more exciting as there is no favourites every team is working hard and all are putting good effort in the field which makes almost all teams the favourites for this season. Last four seasons we saw some teams always making some good progress and every body knew that they will be the winners but this time top teams are competing each other very well and it provides more excitement when compared with older versions of ipl. so this time we expect for a good semi and mega final event . Kolkata and Delhi come back strongly in this season which other wise would be dominated by Mumbai and Chennai so this season is really exciting.
