Hi there. I think I'm a bit luckier than you in this situation. Maybe you have some kind of stomach disorder? I don't know what's it called. The first thing I always do every morning after I get up is having my coffee. I never have breakfast. Well, not very often, but I prefer not as a morning meal will make me nauseous. (Weird, I know.) But some of my friends have the same situation like yours. So after you have this experience, I think it would be better for you to always remember to eat something first before having your coffee. Save your life.

The caffeine in the coffee you drank causes you to shiver because you have a high blood pressure attacking your system.Coffee is good in many ways yet it is not good for you are already have clogged arteries due to eating highly cholesterol foods. The next time you better drink non fat milk or skim milk so that you would not feel the shivering reaction of drinking coffee. You better have a check up for developing hypertension because it is a traitor disease that could make you or unmake your life.

At our house we often drink coffee with reduced caffeine. I can drink one cup, but then I must eat before I drink more for the same reasons of getting jittery and a fast heart beat and also I feel very cross. These are symptoms of low blood sugar. A quick way to fix that is to have a small glass of juice or milk. You will feel better later, and in the future you will remember to eat something when you have your first cup of coffee.

I think my friend, it is because of the nine components of acid from a coffee. The coffee greatly reacts to an empty stomach that contains acid enzymes that aids to digest food. The acid from a coffee mixes to the acid from the stomach creates toxic gas inside which I think makes you shiver. Since caffeine from a coffee is a powerful stimulant, you are encountering palpitations. So whenever, you drink coffee and forgetting to fill up your stomach with food, always bring alkaline drinking water with you to suppress acid attack from a coffee to an empty stomach.

yupz.. So do i. I try to drink a lot of water immediately after i feel shivering. Even i am an active smoking while drinking coffee. Certainly, drinking coffee make our heart fast beating. Well, i think we should have eating something before drinking coffee ;)

Well, frankly, I do not remember a similar experience, also because I do not ever get a cup of coffee on an empty stomach. Sometimes, after drinking the coffee, I seemed to have slightly accelerated heartbeat. Then unfortunately I have the bad habit of smoking and this has influence on my cardiovascular system.
However, as personal advice, I can tell you to minimize the daily coffee, and obviously avoid drinking them on an empty stomach.
