Gossips

We can't really avoid gossips. I have been a victim of it and what I did is just ignore and prove them wrong. Most of these people do not really know you well but they have the guts to say negative about you. I have also tried talking to someone because she is ruining my reputation. Yes, I do have mistakes in the past but I don't think it is appropriate to bring up old topics especially if it has nothing to do about you. Some people loves to talk about other people's dirt. Maybe because they think that that way, they can avoid other people talking about their own dirts.

For me, you can talk to them personally and asked them some reason for their actions and for them to stop. If they are doing it for nothing at all, I guess it's better to stay away from them and find yourself some new and better friends. :)

Ignore and don't let it ruin your life. Just shrug it off and smile. They will be destroyed someday by their wrongdoing.

I think that people have to be very sad to waste their time talking about other people, but the fact is that some people just don't seem to be able to help themselves from spreading lies about people. You should talk to the person about it, and you might find that they didn't realise that they were going to be causing trouble for people before they chose to make comments about you. Being talked about is never nice, but you soon find that you can stop it if you just have a calm and frank discussion about the issues that are worrying you.

Hiya anajoy, Stay away from them all you can and seek other company that appreciates you for who you are. While you can´t stop them from talking about you turning your back on those people will be the best thing you can do at least for a while. Others who are already around you will not believe such things anyway those who are true friends that is. Why bother when the World is full of millions of people and they themselves are only a handful? I was supported by people who have known me all my life and they said they did not believe such rubbish about me it is a comfort to know that there are those kind of people around. I had to put up with a lot of that talking behind my back thing the saying silence is golden is the best it really is just let them yak yak and get on with your life and enjoy yourself as much as you can.xxx

You should face them and ask them why they are gossiping about you. The only way to solve a problem is to face it, confront them. Maybe they have a reason, or they are just bored..
