What kind of topic is easiest for you to begin with?

We do respond and make own discussions. In creating your own discussion, what kind of topic do you most prefer? Are your topics mostly come from current events and news? Do you often make topics to ask questions? Are your topics mostly like a statement presenting your views and opinion? Or you find it easier to start a topic about your personal life and experience?
For me, most of the time, I find it easier to make a topic regarding my personal life and experience such as expressing my feelings and stating my current situation. I find it easier because the topic is about me and my life.
How about you guys? What are your topics mostly composed of? Feel free to share. Thanks!

I don't open topics everyday. I open topics whenever i have problems and i wanna get opinions/advices from mylotters, all are related to me, my life.

Topics that are easy for me to discuss, are those that most people can relate to. Food is easy for me to discuss. I am someone that cooks as well as eats and I find food to be something that brings people together and influences good health. If you notice, food can be quite interesting. To some extent it is everything the people discuss. Food is comforting, beautiful, necessary, and even political. So, my last topic was food. I posted a discussion on Chinese food. I shared my experience about indulging in a wonderful buffet.

A pleasant day Harold_ks,
With regard to your post, it will be a lot easier to create a topic for discussion if this will be coming from your own experience. As you will find it easy to write down the sequence simultaneously. However, there are some who can easily create a topic if they will start it by throwing a usual question. But, as for me, I very seldom create a topic based on my own experienced. Normally, those ones that I wrote are based on the stories that I just encounter.

Hi..
Well, for me, I can actually begin a discussion on anything. But, since I am a very private person, I don't feel comfortable opening up my private life for other people. Therefore, the topics I have begun the two discussions on here in my Lot are a mixture of current events as well as a topic of my interest..
I think it might be easier to begin discussions on my private life as these topics are from real life.. But, I am not so sure if I can...

Hi pjha1975! Yes I saw your two started topics and they were more about current events. I hope you start more topics. Yes, it is easier to make topics related to your life because it is about yourself. You can actually create a topic about your life but still maintaining privacy, and you can do that by not being too specific. Well, I hope you can be able to create more topics in the coming days. Start a topic that interest you or that you are familiar with.
Sometimes when you are reading an article or you are watching movies , television or even when you are talking to your friend a question will suddenly pop up on your mind write this down so that you won`t forget the topic that you want to start. And from this point you can start your topic that you want to ask or share to myloters and expound further your topic.

Yes, that is really one way on how to start a discussion. When something interesting or something that open your curiosity comes up on your mind, you can write it down or directly make it a topic on myLot. Thanks for replying.
