Drinking Warm Water Mixed With A Little Lemon Juice

Hi all, have you ever heard of this? Drinking warm water mixed in a little lemon juice in the morning before you start your activities gives you a lot of health benefits. Some of the benefits are that your immune system will be strengthened, your pH will stay in balance, your body weight will decrease, and will freshen your skin. There are still other benefits I think. What do you say, my dear mylotters?

Will not the lemon juice upset your stomach, since it's empty first thing in the morning and lemon is acidic?

No. Acidic lemon will turn to alkaline when it enters the body.

Hi yanzalong! I am still here at the training venue. We are given a chance to use our laptop but on a very limited time. I will be staying here for 14 days more. Hope I could go out already. I already miss the outside world.

I've not tried that. The only benefit i know about drinking would be plain water. It helps to flush out our waste from previous night, cleansing our system at the same time. It also hydrates our body the moment we wake up, and the process of drinking allows us to freshen up throughout the day. Your recommendation sounds good, i would try it one day for a change, at least it adds some flavor to my drink.

Lemon is very rich in vitamin C and i've known this long before i went to school. Drinking lemon in warm water is a very common concoction in here to cure colds, etc.

its an common remedy here, i use to drink this every morning before going for a walk, I add 1-2 tea spoon honey in this mixture, It is very helpful in weight-loosing, it burns extra fat, squeegeeing half lemon supplies enough vitamin c for the day.. it is also very beneficial for glowing skin :)

depends whether a person can drink sour juice in the morning. I only heard about drinking warm water, honey and lemon juice mixed together when you have a cough.

Oh yes, I agree. I've tried this before, especially when I am on diet because it flushes toxin from your body and better to take it with empty stomach it works to me but i am not sure if it will work to others. Also warm water with lemon juice helps to lower your bad cholesterol level, gives energy, relieves some digestion problems, helps you to lose weight and some health benefits.

I think it will work for others as well. The problem is that they are not yet used to having lemon first thing in the morning.
