I thought that moving into my first single family home would be so exciting and a breeze boy was I wrong! at first it started out great and I felt excited for a chance to start fresh and have more space, but my excitement quickly turned to feeling annoyed and disappointment
Don't get me wrong the house is very cute and I like it, but I couldn't believe how many stressful things happened after arriving at the home and living in it for 14 days first the real estate company that I got the house from cut off the water before I could change the service over, and so I had to take the train to the water company three times before I could get the water company to shut my water on, so you can imagine how gross it is living without water for three days the toilets don't flush Yuck! and I can't shower ew! so nasty especially for a clean freak like me. well needless to say the toilets will need a full scrub down when the water is restored on hahaha
Ok after that my Internet providers mislead me into thinking that all I had to do is transfer my service, and take my existing equipment but as soon as I attempted to connect to the net I realized that nothing worked so I called tech support they told me that I had to upgrade my service to another type of high speed service with their company so I did what they recommended, but my Internet service ended up being off for over 14 days
Sigh! oh one more thing I broke my pinky toe on the stairs at my home and there's more but I'll leave it at that you get the picture I'm sure, my goodness! what a rough move it's been lol I hope nothing else goes wrong I'm not sure how well I could handle another stressfull event
Have you ever felt like everything is going wrong?

Wow, I'm sorry to hear that, Elic. So she might have to find a new place to live?

my o my. When I first read your headline I thought oh ya. That is my life every day just about! But I have never been without water. Electric and gas yes, but not water. What a nightmare for you. I can't believe the real estate company did not inform you when it would happen. Certainly why on earth it took so many trips to get it turned on again? That is maddening.
Cable, internet---those people are just ridiculous. Thank goodness THEY are not in charge of the water or electric, you'd be waiting a lot longer to take a bath or turn your lights on! I hope everything gets straightened out for you real soon so you can enjoy your new home. I hope your toe gets better too!

What a hard move to be sure. I recall when I was working full time and had guardianship of a troubled child. I had a very conplex job with a lot to remember and I was stressful over that. Then I never knew when I would get a phone call that my grand daughter was misbehaving and I would have to leave work. I used to stress so much I would get physically ill. Ya, I used to feel like everything was going wrong. And when you have no family or close friends it can really be tough. I hope your all happily moved in now and having no more problems.

Ever since I started college two years ago nothing has really gone how I want it to. There are days when I feel like its going to be a very good day but then it ends up turning into the worst day ever. It almost always seems to get worse the week before my finals. I am a full time student and on top of that I am trying to find a job to help my mom pay our lot rent. I thought that college was suppose to be fun but the truth is there is nothing fun about college.

I recently became a homeowner and I can relate to some of your stress. After the dust is settled and you have things where you want them I'm sure things will look better. I am sorry about the water problem. I can go without cable but not water...I felt your frustration just from that issue alone. Take care and hope things fall into place and get better:)
