I had a visit to my bestfriend Helen just this afternoon. She just got out from the hospital two days ago and was admitted for 4 days. At first, she just had a check-up for somewhat on her right portion of her stomach aches really painfully. So they decided to see and consult a doctor. As the doctor examined her,he told her she maybe has a suspicious stones in the liver or kidneys. They went through ultrasound and citiscan for further conclusion of what is the real condition of her health. It found out that there are small stones in her gall bladder and is in need of operation. But her family insists for a second opinion. My question is, is there a way of losing the said stones by just taking meds?

If the condition is really due to gall stones as evidenced by USG and CT Scan, it is always better to go for a cholecystectomy; as medical science is now very much advanced, she can easily go for a laparoscopic cholecystectomy. The main objective is to remove the whole gall bladder along with the stones, the gall bladder can in no way be left within as the irritation caused by the so long presence of the stones may predispose to carcinomatous changes in the gall bladder. As the removal of the gall bladder is essential, so there is no other alternative but to opt for a surgery.

Hi cromainer, most of the response are saying no. But for me yes. You can do it naturally but you will really needs to follow the instructions given by the natural doctor. You are in the same country as mine. I am listening to radio program "healing galing" at 92.3FM every saturdays (6-8am) and sundays (10-12nn). They are featuring natural remedies to illnesses like gall stones, even severe cases of cancer. They are selling a natural medecine called "Calcutab" which helps flush out stones not only gall stones but even kidney stones. You must take this medecine orally together with enough water. You can searh mre information about the said program in the net. You can also, get their office address located at Novaliches where you can buy the said medicine. Upon buying the medecine from their office, you will be given instructions by the nursing assistants for free. Trying this could saved your friend from operation.

Yes, they should go to another hospital or doctor for another opinion just to be sure. but eh operation for that is quite simple though now that technology is advanced. So if she really has gall stones, then she should get them out immediately.

Nope! Sorry to disappoint but at present none! Gallbladder stones are present in many women! Its perfectly normal! Unless there is a blood disorder in which case stones represent marker of breakdown of red blood cells! But normally one or two perfectly fine! Its only when they cause pain, does the problem start! And thats when you need surgery! Its very safe and generally no problems are experienced after it and there is no pain.

Not if there are many stones that are blocking the passage of her urine or stool. It can be extremely painful and needs to be fixed as soon as possible. In the overall run, she does need to drink more water to help prevent the stones. Sounds like though that she needs the surgery.

Hi cromainer, I am not sure if there's any medication for gallbladder stone, but some articles claims that you can flush it by drinking some juice but i am not sure if it effective or true. My husband got operated last year because of gallbladder stone. He was hospitalized due to severe abdominal pain and then after some test and ultrasound we found out its gallbladder stone. The doctors adviced us that he needed to undergo surgery as soon as possible because the stone was already blocking the bile duck. Then we choose cholecystectomy laparoscopy which requires several small incision and the healing process is very fast. NOw he is fine and no more pain at all and only has a small few scars. By the way, if the parents of your friend want a second opinion them do it, I know they just needed to confirm the condition of their daughter and once they confirmed it I am sure they will make a better decision for the health safety of their daughter if she undergo operation or not.
